Cheques should be made payable to The Long Point Retriever Training Club, and dated no later than May 31, 2011. A listing fee of $ 8.40 (includes HST) must be submitted for any dog without an individual registration number or ERN. NOTE: New Non-member participation fee a) Beginning in 2011, an annual non-member participation fee for awards (placings) and titles will be charged to all Canadian residents who participate in a CKC event but are not CKC members. The fee will match the ERN fee. b) In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choice either to become a CKC member or to pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will cause all awards (points) and titles to be cancelled. Note: A system of rotation will be used in the All-Age stakes. Starting number will be based on the two digits right of decimal on the prior Thursdayʼs TSX closing Judges shall have the power to disqualify any dog, which does not appear within 15 minutes of the time designated for its turn to be tested Dogs are required to run in order of the draw (males and females alike) unless excused by the marshal for that stake Females in season may not compete. Refund of entry fee is subject to veterinary certificate CKC rules prohibit training on the grounds designated for the holding of a licensed trial. Private property is used for the trial, and permission was obtained for Club use on this weekend only Awards: CKC rosettes and suitable prizes will be awarded to all dogs placing in each stake. CKC rosettes will also be awarded to dogs that earn a Certificate of Merit. Excerpt from CKC Retriever Field Trial Rules and Regulations Chapter 21, Sect 21.7: It shall be the duty and obligation of the trial giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer, or any participant at an event held under these rules is not subject to indignities of any kind. The Retriever Field Trial Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. PUPPY STAKE FOR PUPPIES UNDER 1 YEAR OF AGE SATURDAY JUNE 11, 2011 STARTING TIME & LOCATION: 10:00 AM at Dogwood area of Baypoint Kennels, 635 Conc 1, Port Rowan ON N0E 1M0 JUDGE: Jim Hopkins BIRDS: Pigeons and Ducks PRIZES: Suitable prizes and ribbons will be awarded to all placing dogs and participation ribbons for all dogs that complete all series. Judges will be encouraged to allow all dogs to run all series - time permitting. TAILGATE: Results will be handed out at the tailgate dinner held at Baypoint Kennels. Please plan on attending, tickets will be available at all stakes. ENTRIES: Will be taken from 8:00-9:30 AM at the location of the stake. The puppy stake will be well posted. Length and the degree of difficulty will be at the discretion and good judgement of the judges This is an unofficial stake and not held under the rules and regulations of the CKC, but good sportsmanship will be enforced by the members of the LPRTC The puppy stake is open to all breeds as long as the puppy is under 1 year of age as of June 11, 2011.
