Trial precincts are defined as the Wascana Dog Obedience Club Training Centre and parking area. FAILURE TO PICK UP AFTER YOUR DOG OR ALLOWING IT TO URINATE ON THE TRIAL PRECINCTS OUTSIDE OF THE DESIGNATED AREA, INCLUDING THE BUILDING, STEPS, RAILS, ETC. WILL RESULT IN DISMISSAL FROM THE TRIALS. OBEDIENCE TRIAL RULES 6.5.2 When a bitch comes into season after entries have closed, the trial giving club must refund the entry fee and listing fee providing the trial secretary receives, on or before the date of the trial, a veterinarian s certificate declaring that the bitch was in season within the 10 day period preceding the trial. 6.7.6 A dog that bites or attempts to bite another dog or a person outside the ring may be removed from the venue by the Trial Committee Chair. 20.7 It shall be the duty and obligation of the trial-giving club to see that a judge, club official, ring steward, volunteer, or competitor at an Obedience Trial held under these regulations, is not subject to indignities of any kind. The Obedience Trial Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred. A copy of this regulation shall be prominently placed in every premium list and catalogue. 1. The Obedience Trial Chairman is in complete charge of the trial. 2. No dog will be allowed in the building or on the grounds unless entered in the trials. 3. No dog is to be left off leash at any time on or near the grounds of the trial except in the obedience rings. Violation of this rule can result in dismissal from competition. No refund shall be made. 4. Exhibitors must wear the correct number while in the ring. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. No dog will be allowed to compete unless entry fees have been paid in full. 2. Refunds will not be made after the closing date for dogs that do not compete except as noted under section 6.5.2 of the Obedience Trial Rules & Regulations. 3. The Trial Committee has the right to refuse any entry subject to CKC rules. 4. The club will use due care and diligence for the welfare of the dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of an accident or other misfortune, either to dogs, exhibitors or patrons. 5. A judge officiating at the trial under the Obedience Trial Regulations and Standards shall not be subject to indignities of any kind during the progress of the trial. It shall be the duty of the club holding the show to see that this rule is effectively carried out. The Trial Chairman shall promptly report to the Canadian Kennel Club any infringement of this rule. The Board of Directors shall have the power to take action as it deems fit on the receipt of a report indicating that this rule has been violated. 6. If because of riot, civil disturbance or other acts beyond the control of the trial holding club, it is impossible to open or to complete the trials, no refund of entry fees will be made. 7. Fees must accompany your entries. Tendering a NSF cheque shall be considered an offence punishable by disciplinary action and cancellation of awards by the Canadian Kennel Club. There will be a $25.00 fee charged for any NSF cheque issued. No post-dated cheques accepted. Overpayments will be donated to the trophy fund.
