DOGS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER This trial is open to all dogs fifteen (15) months of age or older that are registered with the American Kennel Club or that have AKC Limited Registration, Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP) or approved Foundation Stock Service (FSS) breeds or Canine Partners Program are eligible to participate. Dogs with a Purebred Alternative Listing/Indefinite Listing Privileges (PAL/ILP) must be spayed or neutered in order to compete. Wherever the word dog is used it includes both sexes. Dogs should be physically sound. Dogs that are blind shall not be eligible, and neither are bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect the dog s physical or mental performance. No dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of register able breeds that may participate. Puppies under four months of age are strictly prohibited from the trial grounds.

OBSTACLES AND RING CONDITIONS Obstacles will meet the specifications for obstacles in the current edition of the AKC Regulations for Agility Trials. M.A.D. Agility s equipment is within all specs to AKC requirements. Weave poles are 24 spaced and contacts rubberized. Ring sizes will be 80 x 110 for all 2 rings. COURSE WALK-THROUGHS AND WARM-UP INFORMATION Handlers will be able to walk each course prior to the start of each class. No dogs will be allowed on course during this time. Handlers with multiple dogs may request to walk with a different height other than the one they are entered in to help accommodate conflicts. It is the handler s responsibility to coordinate conflicts by consulting the judge and ring gate steward. Handlers are not permitted to move themselves on the gage sheets. No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Illegible entries will not be processed and will be returned to the exhibitor. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry and the Club will add a $30.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Trial Secretary will not be held responsible for entries or changes not received at all or not received by any deadline. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to follow up on any correspondence with the Trial Secretary before any deadline date. If you do not get an email reply back from the Trial Secretary it most likely means she did not get it and you need to try to contact again using an appropriate means of communication such as phone, email or mail.

ADDITIONAL EXHIBITOR INFORMATION WATER PROOF TARPS ARE TO BE USED UNDER ALL CRATES 1. All dogs must be on leash, attached to their Handler or in a crate when not competing in the ring or at the practice jump. 2. Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are familiar with AKC agility rules and regulations and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. 3. Telegraph, telephone, email, AKC online entries, fax, and unsigned entries will not be accepted. 4. A refund of entries minus a service fee of $15/dog/day for bitches in season(service FEE) or injured dogs will be granted when a veterinarian s letter is presented as proof to the Trial Secretary prior to the start of the 1st trial day dog is entered. Must use official Vet Letter Head. 5. Females in season must be fully refunded if withdrawn by the trial secretary after closing and no later than one half hour prior to the start of the first class of the day of the trial. The club may retain a processing fee and must publish this information in the premium (no fee paid to the AKC for females in season who are withdrawn). Clubs may determine the documentation if any, that is required confirming the female is in season. Clubs must list this AKC policy along with all other situations for which they will provide a refund. Clubs must treat all occurance s of a listed refund equally. 6. No Entry Fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. 7. All calls to the Trial Secretary must be before 9PM Mon Thurs. 8. Entries not on official AKC entry forms or photocopies of entry forms without agreement and rules printed on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT acceptable and will be returned! 9. Postdated checks and returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Club will add a collection fee of $30.00 to the amount of each returned check. 10. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms. Entry fees do not have to be refunded in event of such error. 11. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs at the show site. Failure to do so will result in dismissal. 12. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. 13. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up the judging schedule. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the agility ring when they are called to be judged. 14. It is expressly understood that every dog and child at this trial are in the care, custody and control of its owner, handler, or parent during the entire time the dog or child is on the trial premises. Any exhibitor whose dog and/or child create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior, may, at the discretion of the Trial Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees will be made. 15. Neither York Kennel Club, Scores-N-More nor Yellow Breeches are responsible for the loss of, damage to, or death of any dog exhibited, or the possessions of any participant, whether the result of accident or any other cause. 16. Declination of Entries: The York Kennel Club may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove dogs on account of disease, viciousness or other causes and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the York Kennel Club or any official thereof. MOVE UP FORM As per Chapter 1, Section 20, American Kennel Club Regulation for Agility Trials, dogs may be moved up to a higher class, at the request of the Owner, as a result of qualifying for an agility title. Dogs so moved up will be entered at the end of the running order or otherwise at the secretary s or Judges discretion. EMAILED MOVEUPS: When emailing a move up to us please just give the following information. TRIAL NAME, Owner Name. Dog Call Name, Move up for what days (Saturday, Sunday, etc.), Moving from, Moving to (PLEASE include STD, JWW, or FAST). Before the trial Move ups may be made prior to the move up deadline via email to scoresnmore@comcast.net,or in writing to YKC c/o Bonnie Reifsnyder, 250 Trail Rd., Hershey, PA 17033. Verbal move ups will not be accepted. Move ups for Friday/ Saturday/Sunday are due in writing by the Monday at 6 pm the week of the trial. June 24,2019 Day-to-Day Moveups: the club is allowing day-to-day move-ups for the 2 nd and subsequent days of the trial weekend, per Chapter 1, Section 20, the exhibitor is able show up at the trial site and request a move up in writing to the trial secretary not later than the day preceding the event and cannot be conveyed via fax, email, or verbally to the trial secretary. I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. I (we) certify and represent that the dog entered is not a hazard to persons or other dogs. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. INSTRUCTIONSHandlers whose dogs measure into the 8 through 20 regular jump height divisions may opt to enter in a higher or 24-choice height division for all Regular titling classes, but not in a division lower than their proper height division. Dogs who measure into the 24 regular jump height division may not enter 24-choice. Dogs entered in the Preferred classes must compete at the required jump height and may not compete in a jump height division higher or lower than their proper height division. All dogs that have not been officially measured for an Agility Jump Height Card may still compete; however, they must be measured by a Judge of record, an Agility Field Representative, or a Volunteer Measuring Official, prior to running. If measured by the Judge of record, that measurement will be valid for this trial or back-to-back trials only. If a measurement is necessary, it is the exhibitor's responsibility to have their dog(s) measured prior to running. Dogs listed in the AKC Canine Partners SM program may be eligible to enter all-breed AKC agility trials at the club s option. These dogs should be listed as All American Dog and must include their AKC number on the entry form and check the AKC No. box.
