Ring 1 will hold the Toggenburg District 2 Specialty. Ring 2 will hold the Nubian District 2 Specialty. Two separately ADGA sanctioned open shows and two separately ADGA sanctioned junior doe shows will be held. These shows are sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association, and ADGA rules shall govern. The show will begin promptly at 9 am with the Toggenburg Specialty in Ring 1. After the completion of Ring 1, exhibitors will bring their animals into Ring 2 for the start of the second ring. Proof of registration accepted as per ADGA rules. Please make sure all tattoos are readable. For electronic identification, exhibitors are responsible for bringing their own microchip reader.
There will be no pre-show milk. Best of Breed winners must remain until the end of the show. The Judges decision will be final. All animals entered at the sole risk of the owner. The PDGC, its Members and or/the Ulster County Agricultural Society cannot be held responsible for any losses, damages, or accident to any persons, animal or property while on the Fairgrounds. Animals must be on the fairgrounds by 8 AM, Saturday, July 14 th. No other animals are permitted on the fairgrounds unless the show committee gives prior approval. No VEHICLES are allowed in the barns. Anyone found vandalizing or destroying buildings; property, etc. will be asked to leave the Fairgrounds. Any exhibitors failing to comply with these rules will be removed from the show. HEALTH CHECK: 7:00 am to 8:00 am A stringent health inspection will be conducted BEFORE unloading. ANY animal with pinkeye, sore mouth, abscesses, etc. will not be allowed to unload and will be asked to leave with entry fees forfeited. Pre-reserved pens are available on a first come first serve basis. Pre-reserved pens must be reserved by Wednesday, July 11 th. There will be no post-show pen cleanup necessary but please be respectful of the fairgrounds. Showing out of your trailer is permitted. FOOD: We will have a food booth serving breakfast and lunch. RAFFLE TABLE: Donations are welcome and appreciated to help offset the cost of the show. HIGHLIGHTS: Prizes will be awarded to Grand and Reserve Champions in all rings.
