ADDITIONAL ITEMS FROM STEERING COMMITTEE MEMBERS Mark Lehman: Don t lose parking stalls to make the dog park bigger. That parking serves the business and potentially the dog park. Madeline Rackley: Would like to see an art component in the lobby on the wall above the community room. Jake Mason: Don t eliminate parking for the dog park. Also, don t lose a basketball court for the dog park. The courts are in constant use.
Page 13 Erik Guzman: Don t eliminate a basketball court for the dog park. The image of the pool is amazing. Roy Huebner: Robertson Commons, need to maximize the lawn area. There is too much planting. This area needs to be flexible. Jim Ballard: Dog park could take advantage of the areas on both sides of the basketball courts. Loves the pool area and the proposed mural. Likes the clear glass on the pool deck to take advantage of the views. A frit pattern at the guard rail height is a good idea. Would like to see some color added to the front elevation. Anny Semonco: Very pleased with the accessible gym equipment and children s play equipment. If pavers are used, they need to be level and even for accessibility. ITEMS FROM STAFF Francisco Contreras mentioned there will be a West Hollywood Park Design Expo at the park on November 22, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. ADJOURNMENT: The West Hollywood Park Phase II Design Steering Committee adjourned to their next scheduled meeting, which will be held on December 2, 2014 at 6:00 P.M. at West Hollywood Council Chambers, 625 N.
