ALL CLOVERBUD ENTRIES MUST BE TURNED IN ON CHECK-IN DAY, THURSDAY FROM 4:00PM 7:00PM. ELIGIBILITY: 1. Exhibitor must be between the ages of 5-7. 2. Exhibitor must be five (5) years old by September 1 st of current year. 3. Exhibitor must be a current member of Osceola County. ENTRIES: 1. Cloverbuds may enter a total of seven (7) entries, one (1) per class, plus the Share the Fun Talent Show. (Data Sheet Required) No Premium money is paid for talent show, they will receive medallions. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: 1. All animals are required to be free of disease, parasites, and mites a. If not free they will be disqualified. 2. All animals will be checked at check-in. REGISTRATION: 1. Cloverbud Poultry and Rabbits need to be brought to Rabbit & Poultry Workshop prior to the Fair. a. Workshop date TBD, please check online calendar. 2. Poultry must attend one of the Bathing/Pest Control Workshops, please check online calendar.

ANIMAL ELIGIBILITY: 1. All small animals must be left in their own cages at the fair. 2. Rabbits must be (5) months of age by showtime and must have rabbit by registration deadline. ANIMAL CARE: 1. Exhibitors are required to feed and water their own animals, including rabbits, poultry and small animals. 2. They are also required to bring their own feed, and keep their pens and cages clean. a. If not clean, premiums will be forfeited. 3. Feeding hours must coincide with fair hours. 4. The Exhibition Hall will not be open except for during fair hours. DRESS CODE FOR SMALL ANIMAL SHOW: 1. Blue or Black jeans, White collared shirt or Club T-Shirts tucked-in, boots or brogans. JUDGING: 1. Exhibitors must be present during the judging of Rabbits, Poultry, and Small Animals or prior arrangements made with committee, otherwise no premiums will be paid. PREMIUMS: 1. There is no competition amongst Cloverbuds. a. All Cloverbud entries exhibited will receive a participation ribbon and a $3.00 premium per entry. Unless otherwise noted. 2. All premiums will be mailed to the exhibitors after the fair. a. Please allow up to six (6) weeks. CHECKOUT EXHIBITS: 1. Animals removed before checkout time and date will result in forfeiture of premium money. 2. All animal areas must be clean (inside/underneath/around) at all times, including checkout time. a. If not clean, premiums will be forfeited. 3. ANIMALS NOT PICKED UP AT CHECKOUT TIME WILL FORFEIT PREMIUMS. 4. No locks are allowed on Rabbit cages, but zip-ties may be used for safety.

SIGNAGE: ONLY APPROVED SIGNS PROVIDED BY THE FAIR OFFICE AND COMMITTEES ARE PERMITTED ON CAGES AND/OR PENS. VEHICLES ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE FAIRGROUNDS DURING OPERATING HOURS. EXHIBITORS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO GIVE ANYTHING TO ANY JUDGE DURING ANY SHOW. NO FOAM CORE/POSTERBOARD OR CARDSTOCK PERMITTED FOR THE HEALTH OF THE ANIMALS. See Poultry or Rabbit Costume Contest rules. Bird or Rabbit must be entered in the Cloverbud show and can only be shown by registered exhibitor. Cloverbud may enter either poultry or rabbit. Limit 1 entry per exhibitor. Participation Ribbons only. Premiums not paid for Costume Contest. Does not count toward Cloverbud total entries. HAVE FUN!! SECTION 8 CLOVERBUD BAKED GOODS CLOVERBUD BAKED GOODS CLASSES Items must be on/in DISPOSABLE CONTAINERS and require NO REFRIGERATION. Items must be cooked (except candy), must contain flour (except candy and Gluten Free), and cannot use raw eggs in recipe or have meringue (all eggs must be cooked or baked into recipe). A new recipe is required each year. o For example, if you made Grandma s chocolate cookies last year you cannot make them again this year. NO PRE-PACKAGED, BOXED PRODUCTS OR PREMADE INGREDIENTS MAYBE ENTERED (for example, no boxed cake mixes, frozen bread or pre-made pie crusts, etc.). SECTION 10 CLOVERBUD HORTICULTURE CLASSES Each exhibitor may enter only one (1) plant per class. The exhibitor must grow plants at least 60 days prior to the fair. All entries must be clean, insect free, disease free. Exhibitors are responsible for labeling all plants with common and botanical names. Horticulture Agent will determine workshops. o Workshops are open to all Exhibitors, and dates are TBD. Check the fair calendar for more information. Exhibitor is responsible for watering plant during fair hours. Citrus Trees should be entered in the Citrus Tree Contest (Department CTC). o 2000. Hanging Baskets o 2001. SECTION 12 CLOVERBUD PHOTOGRAPHY CLASSES Each Cloverbud may enter one (1) photo exhibit. Photo must be taken by EXHIBITOR. Entry may be a print, black and white or color photo made from digital photo. All photos must be mounted on FOAM CORE MATTING. Photo cannot be professionally matted. Maximum size for single photo is 5 X 7 including mounting. NO PHOTOS IN FRAMES WITH GLASS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Attach a Photo Id Tag on back with title of photo, Exhibitors name, and age. Must include photo release if people in photo are under age 18. Photo release is available in the FORMS section of the Fair website. o 4000. Single Photos SECTION 13 CLOVERBUD WOODWORKING CLASSES o 5000. Birdhouse or feeder o 5001. Toy o 5002. Item for Home Use o 5003. Tool Box SECTION 14 CLOVERBUD GAME BOARDS CLASS All Cloverbuds may enter only one (1) game board. Contest entries must have their name, club name & age written on back of board. Game boards must be 15" x 20" or they will be disqualified, and not displayed. o Boards may NOT be cut into shapes. Game boards must be designed to run on no larger than a 9-volt battery and you must supply the battery, and it must be secured to back of game-board. o (No free standing batteries will be accepted) Boards may be painted, drawn with pencils or marker or utilize any other craft technique. o Fresh materials that will not hold up for the duration of the Fair may not be used. Each board must contain only one game and not be a part of a series of boards.

Boards may be 3 dimensional, however, they must not have sharp objects sticking out, or pieces attached that may be removed or fall off. KVLS Chairpersons have a final say over safety. If constructed of brown cardboard, the front of the game board must be covered with poster board, wallpaper, contact paper or other similar material. All game boards must meet the following criteria: o Made from cardboard, foam core or coroplast. o All electric joints soldered or taped to back of board. o The back of the board must be visible to judges. o Any boards with paper coverings concealing wiring will not be accepted. o Uses simple or advanced wiring (circuits). o Brads or small screws with nuts may be used to secure your wiring. If using brads, be sure to use uncoated brads. o Back of game board wiring must be neatly secured. o Board must have covered light, buzzer or other advanced electric technology such as LED s, selector switches, etc. o If LED lights are used, they must be flat on back of board. o Must have group name displayed. o Holes must be punched in the top corners to be displayed. CLASSES: 6000 - Game Board SECTION 15 SHOEBOX FLOAT CONTEST CLASS Decorate a shoebox to look like a Parade Float. You can cover it with whatever material you wish (i.e.paper, material, glitter, etc.) Give it wheels if you want to. Make it look like a Parade Float. Bring it to the fair and we will have a Shoebox Float Parade in the stage area. Check Event Calendar for date and time of Parade. CLASSES 8000. Shoebox float

SECTION 17 CLOVERBUD FRUIT CROPS (CITRUS/PEACH/BLUEBERRY TREE) General Rules: Open to all Osceola County Cloverbuds. Exhibitors may enter one tree/plant issued to them in April of the prior year. Replacement trees/plants may only be obtained in the thirty days following the original issuing of trees/plants, and only as long as trees from the original lot are still available. All trees/plants must be planted and grown in the container issued to them. Must have the original tag on the tree/plant when checked in at fair. These trees must be turned in on the same day as all other Citrus Trees, Peach Trees and Blueberry plants; and will be exhibited in the Citrus Tree area in the tent. Exhibitors are responsible for the care of their tree/plant during the fair. Cloverbuds are permitted to participate in the skill-a-thon. 01. CITRUS TREE 02. PEACH TREE 03. BLUEBERRY PLANT

SECTION 16 SHARE THE FUN TALENT SHOW GENERAL RULES: All 4-H Cloverbuds may participate in the Share the Fun Cloverbud Talent Show. You will receive a medal for participation. No premium will be paid for participation. 4-H S-T-F entrants may present acts as individuals or groups (groups are limited to 5 members*). You may compete in one (1) act. (One (1) Individual or One (1) Group. The time range for each act is three (3) to five (5) minutes. S-T-F participants will be performing at the Fair. Please note that you will be required to provide all the necessary instruments (including securing a piano) and materials needed during your act. It will not be the job of the 4-H Agent or the Fair to secure or move any equipment or provide adequate space for dance routines. NOTE: You must complete a data sheet that is available from the 4-H office, the 4-H website or at fair registration day. This form must be turned to the Extension Services (4-H office) no later than December 19, 2015. NO EXCEPTIONS or act will be disqualified. Data Sheet must also include words/lyrics for songs, dramatic readings, monologues, poems, or skits. The Data Sheet must include description of act. Complete a data sheet for each member of a group act listing all members and each member of the act must indicate the category and class on their Youth Exhibit Registration form. PRIZES: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place plaques and rosettes will be given for Jr., Int. & Sr. 1st & 2nd Place winners in Jr., Int. & Sr. will go on to District Competition. **Complete an entry form for EVERY member of a group act** CLASSES: 7001.
