Supervised by caring trainers, our daycare offers an educational alternative for exercise, socialization with opportunities to learn new skills while interacting with other dogs. Enclosed are several pages of paperwork to fill out before you come to your appointment. If there is a question you don't understand, just leave it blank and we will talk about it during your appointment, or feel free to call. If you feel you need to improve your dog's training, Dancin' provides both private and group training to accommodate both you and your dog. Since having a healthy and happy dog is a team effort, daycare prices include discounts on classes, and a free 7-day book loaning library. One day a week, minimum commitment: At Dancin' Woofs we provide the best environment for your dog to socialize and feel safe. Our playful environment is a result of dogs getting to know each other during repeated visits. This occurs by reducing the stress of meeting new and unfamiliar dogs everyday, no different from the increased comfort level you feel once you become more familiar with new friends. To insure this, we ask that you make an initial 8-week commitment to the same day(s) each week. Daycare overview: Your dog can be dropped off at the Training Center between 7:30-9:30 am and picked up between 3:30-5:30 pm (if you need an earlier drop off or later pick up, please ask about options). Their day will consist of supervised play until pick up time. Each dog gets a weekly report card. Training/Daycare Center: Located in the Brinson Business Park off Empire Ave., our training and daycare center offers 6,000 square feet of indoor space, equipped with 3/4" tenderfoot flooring for cushioning your dogs playing and 2000 feet of outdoor romping space. We also offer a basic grooming for daycare dogs only and a small retail area with premium dog products and treats. Please call if you have any questions. I look forward to caring for and playing with your dog. Kristin Kerner Owner, Dancin' Woofs info@dancinwoofs.com dancinwoofs.com Continued on next page
We do not offer drop-in service for dogs that are not current clients. Our focus is on providing a consistent environment for the dogs, as they are most comfortable with familiar dogs and staff. New dogs can take up to a full day to integrate into daycare so a long-term and consistent commitment is best. Before your dog comes to play 1. Schedule a 30 minute orientation*,cost $20: 541-312-3766. 2. Complete the daycare application. 3. Bring a copy of your dog s record of vaccinations and current fecal test. *In the orientation we will review the application. You will read and sign a release/consent form and emergency contact form. We will pick a day/s that will best suits you and your dog. During this half hour we will also screen your dog. (see screening process below) Screening process Dogs will pass a temperament test to assure that they are dog and people friendly. It is important for the health and safety of all concerned that the dogs attending daycare do not have aggressive tendencies, show excessive shyness, are food or toy possessive, are overly protective of territory, or are stressed easily in new situations. During the screening your dog will be tested for attitude and human handling. This includes all four paws being picked up; petting all over your dog s body; a big restraint hug; teeth and ear check; and to see how comfortable your dog is with this kind of touch both physically and emotionally. All new dogs should to be at daycare before 8:00 a.m. on their first day.
