He is the founding member and President of the Thessaloniki Canine Society being in charge of organizing dog shows and field trials for the club. He is the breeder of the Epagneul Breton and of the Liewellin Setter, a strain of the English Setter under the kennel name of Kentavros. He has judged in Australia, Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Cuba, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Guatemala, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Republic Srbska, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Sweden, Serbia and Spain. FCI Dog Show judge since 2003. Adriana Gaitan- In 1978 she bought her first Golden Retriever and her first breeding was in 1993 after studying temperament, structure, blood lines, crosses amnd breeding with the purpose of collaborating in its development in her country. Since 2004 she has been supporting Dr. Clara Orozco in his thesis on psychiatric assisted therapy dogs for people with severe depression, Momntserrat in Bogota Clinic, obtaining excellent results. She obtained her International All Breed judging license in 2009. She has been invited to judge in Colombia, Argentina, Indonesia, Brasie, China, Ecuador, Peru, Canada, Cuba, Guatemala, Venezuela, Mexico, Australia and Japan. Dr. Vania Haga She started in dog shows in 1984 with her first Siberian Husky. This dog became one of Braizilian s rop Siberians of all times. Her kennel name is Huskyland Siberians. She has been an all breed judge since 2006 and has judged in most Brazilian dog clubs and also Argentina, Bolivia, Equador, Peru, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa.

CONFORMATION CLASSES The following Regular CKC Classes (divided by sex) will be offered: JUNIOR PUPPY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 6 months of age and under 9 months of age on the day of the show SENIOR PUPPY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 9 months of age and under 12 months of age on the day of the show 12 to 18 MONTH CLASS- This class shall be for any dog 12 months but under 18 months of age on the day of the show CANADIAN BRED CLASS - This class shall be for any dog born in Canada. (Champions of any country excluded) BRED BY EXHIBITOR CLASS - This class shall be for any dog owned and handled in the ring by owner/breeder. The handler MUST be the owner/co- owner AND breeder/co-breeder of the dog. The owner/breeder must handle the dog at the class level, but need not handle the dog for further awards OPEN CLASS - This class shall be for all dogs SPECIALS ONLY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog that has a recorded CKC Registration or Event Registration Number and has attained the required points for Championship status. Note: A Listed dog may be moved to the Specials Only Class after the closing of entries, provided the CKC Individual or Event Registration Number was received prior to the first day of the show. The request to move a class dog to the Specials Only Class MUST be received by the Show Secretary ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE OPENING OF THE SHOW ON THE DAY CONCERNED. Listing Fees WILL NOT be refunded NON-REGULAR CLASSES BABY PUPPY CLASS - This class shall be for any dog 3 months of age and under 6 months of age on the day of the show. The award for this class are: Best Baby Male, Best Baby Female, Best Baby Puppy in Breed, Best Baby Puppy in Group BRACE This class is for 2 dogs of the same breed (not necessarily the same sex). A brace must be handled by one person on one lead. VETERANS CLASS - This class is for dogs 7 years of age and over on the day of the show. Dogs entered in these classes may be spayed or neutered. EXHIBITION ONLY - All dogs entered in this class shall be listed in the catalogue with the same particulars as dogs entered in regular competition. Dogs entered in this class MAY NOT COMPETE in any Regular class but may enter and compete in Non-Regular classes and/or Parades ONLY SEXUALLY ALTERED This class is for dogs over 6 months of age which have been spayed or neutered.

SWEEPSTAKES SATURDAY Sept 23 rd, 2017 at lunch break Juvenile Sweepstakes Judge: Betty Pirs (males) /Joan Grainger (females & overall) Juvenile Sweepstakes is open to all puppies six months and under eighteen months of age regardless of place of birth. All dogs must be entered in one of the regular official classes on the same day. Dogs will be judged in one of the following six classes (divided by sex): Junior Puppy - 6 months and under 9 months Senior Puppy - 9 months and under 12 months Juvenile Puppy - 12 months and under 18 months For final judging the first place puppy from each of the classes will be brought together for the final judging of Best in Sweepstakes. Best in Sweepstakes - rosette & 25% of total fees collected for the Juvenile Sweepstakes 1st in each class rosette & 8% of total fees collected 2 nd thru 4 th in each class rosette 25% of fees collected will be retained by the club to defray costs ********************************************************************************************************** Veteran Sweepstakes Judge: Betty Pirs (males & overall) / Joan Grainger (females) ~ following the judging of the Juvenile Sweepstakes Veteran Sweepstakes is open to all dogs 7 years of age and over and entered in a regular class or for exhibition only on the same day. Spayed and neutered dogs may compete provided they are also entered in exhibition only. Dogs to be judged in one of the following four classes (divided by sex): Junior Veteran - 7 years and under 10 years Senior Veteran - 10 years and over For final judging the first place winner from each of the classes will be brought together for the final judging of Best in Sweepstakes and Best Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes Best in Sweepstakes - rosette & 25% of total fees collected for the Veteran Sweepstakes 1 st in each class rosette & 12% of total fees collected 2 nd thru 4 th in each class - rosette 25% of fees collected will be retained by the club to defray costs **********************************************************************************************************

Altered Sweepstakes Judge: Joan Grainger ~ following the judging of the Veteran Sweepstakes Altered Sweepstakes is open to all dogs sexually altered and entered in the altered class or for exhibition only on the same day. Dogs to be judged in one of the following two classes: Altered Males Altered Female For final judging the first place winner from each of the classes will be brought together for the final judging of Best in Sweepstakes and Best Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes Best in Sweepstakes - rosette & 25% of total fees collected for the Veteran Sweepstakes 1 st in each class rosette & 25% of total fees collected 2 nd thru 4 th in each class - rosette 25% of fees collected will be retained by the club to defray costs Judge: tba JUNIOR HANDLING Sunday Sept 24 th, 2017 at 12:00 noon Entries will be accepted at the show secretary s desk up to 11:00 am on Sunday with no exceptions. $2.00 entry fee. The following classes will be provided: Pee Wee (non-competitive) - 4 to 6 years Junior Novice - 7 to 10 years Junior Open - 7 to 10 years Intermediate Novice 11 to 14 years Intermediate Open 11 to 14 years Senior Novice - 15 to 18 years Senior Open 15 to 18 years Competition is open to all Junior Handlers between the ages of 4 and up to 18 years of age (of the competition year). Pee Wees do not compete for best overall. Dogs handled by the juniors must be entered in a Regular Conformation class or in Exhibition Only at this group specialty. Dogs do not need to be owned by the junior. Pee Wees - participation ribbon Best Overall Handler rosette 1 st to 4 th in each class rosette Please note that effective January 1, 2016, in accordance with Section 3.4.1 of the Junior Handling Rules & Regulations, Junior Handlers will be required to apply to CKC Head Office for a Junior Handling Number. Section 3.4.1 Junior Handler with the exception of Pee Wees, must apply to CKC Head Office on the appropriate form for a Junior Handling Number within 30 days of competing in their first Junior Handling event. This Junior Handling Number will be used by the Junior Handler for the duration of their Junior Handling career. If a Junior Handling number is not obtained, Junior Handling points earned will not be tracked.

OBEDIENCE CLASSES: No dog may be entered in both Novice A and Novice B, Open A and Open B at the same trial. In determining class eligibility, if a dog shall have won a particular title before being entered or moved up, the handler shall have been notified by at least 2 different judges that the dog has won 3 qualifying scores for the required title. (However, a dog may continue to be exhibited for 60 days in a class after winning a particular title.) Dogs fulfilling the requirements for a title may be moved to the next level of competition if the schedule permits. The transfer must be on the appropriate move-up form and submitted to the show secretary at least 15 minutes before the start of the class. PRE-NOVICE - The Pre-Novice class is an elective class and earning the title is not a requirement to enter Novice classes. The Pre-Novice class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has not earned the title of P.C.D. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. The same handler must handle each dog in all 5 exercises unless he has 2 or more dogs entered. In such cases, he must have an additional handler for each extra dog when they are judged together in the group exercise. Only dogs that have not earned the title of C.D. may enter the Pre-Novice class. NOVICE A - The Novice A class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has not earned the title of C.D. Only one dog per handler is allowed in this class, and that person must handle the dog in all exercises. NOVICE INTERMEDIATE - The Novice Intermediate class is an elective class and earning this title is not a requirement to enter the Open classes. The Novice Intermediate class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed that has earned a C.D. or any higher obedience trial titles. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. A person may enter more than one dog in this class The same handler must handle the dog in all 6 exercises. Dogs may compete in the Novice Intermediate class indefinitely. Scores earned by dogs competing in this class are not eligible for High in Trial. Dogs may be entered in the Novice Intermediate class in addition to any other official or unofficial classes for which they are eligible. OPEN A - The Open A class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has earned the title of C.D. but has not earned the title of C.D.X. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, co-owner or member of their immediate families. Only one dog per handler is allowed in this class, and that person must handle the dog in all exercises. Any person who has trained or exhibited a dog that has earned a U.D. title may not handle a dog in this class. OPEN B - The Open B class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has earned the title of C.D. Dogs which have earned the title of C.D.X. or any higher titles may enter in the Open B class. A dog may also be entered in the Utility Class in the same trial. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. A person may enter or handle more than one dog in this class. The same handler must handle each dog in all 7 exercises unless he has 2 or more dogs entered. In such cases, he must have an additional handler for each extra dog when they are judged together in the group exercises. Prior to the start of judging, the judge will choose which of the six numbered routines is to be performed. This choice will not be disclosed to the exhibitors until it is posted at ring side at least 30 minutes before the start of the class. In future assignments, judges are required to alternate the six routines so that each set will be used approximately the same number of times. UTILITY A - The Utility A class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has earned the title of C.D.X. but has not earned the title of U.D. Any person who has trained or exhibited a dog that has earned a M.O.T.Ch. title may not handle dogs in this class. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner or member of their immediate families. Owners may enter more than one dog in this class. The same person must handle the dog in all exercises. UTILITY B - The Utility B class shall be for any dog of any recognized or listed breed, mixed breed or unrecognized breed which has earned the title of C.D.X. or U.D. Dogs in this class may be handled by the owner or any other person. Owners may enter more than one dog in this class. The same person must handle the dog in all exercises. RALLY ADVANCED A - This class shall be for dogs that have won the Rally Novice (R.N.) title but have not won the Rally Advanced (R.A.) title or any CKC Novice Obedience title. GENERAL RULES GOVERNING THESE SHOWS It is the responsibility of the Exhibitor to be familiar with the rules pertaining to the event in which they are competing. Copies of the Conformation Rule book are available from: The CKC, 400 200 Ronson Dr., Etobicoke, ON M9W 5Z9 or online at www.ckc.ca 1. The Club reserves the right to remove any person from the show. The Show Superintendent shall have full control of the above shows and trials, which will be governed by CKC rules. 2. Any dog excused by the Show Superintendent or the Show Veterinarian for any reason shall not, after being excused, compete in any class for any award for the balance of the show. 3. The show committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of accident, or other misfortune, to either dogs, exhibitors or patrons. 4. A Judge or any person participating in any capacity at a Dog Show held under CKC Rules shall not be subjected to any indignity of any kind during the progress of the show and it shall be the duty and obligation of the Club holding the show to see that this rule is effectively carried out. The Show Superintendent shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of the rules, and the Discipline Committee shall have the power to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this rule has been violated. 5. Exhibitors are solely responsible for the conduct or actions of their animals while they are on the show grounds. 6. DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. The Club will not be responsible for and is not obligated to provide any service for notifying owners or agents of breed or class judging. No ring shall be held up waiting for exhibitors or handlers. Exhibitors & Handlers with more than one dog shall have substitute handlers available so the judging will not be delayed. All start times are PST. 7. The owner of a dog entered in these shows is entirely responsible for any error in entering his/her dog, regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. 8. A dog once disqualified for any reason at a championship show held under these rules cannot again be shown at a show held under these rules until the dog has been examined by an official committee appointed by the CKC and the committee finds the dog is free from the condition which prompted the disqualification. Application for reinstatement must be accompanied by a fee of $50.00 plus GST which shall be forfeited to the CKC if the examining committee is satisfied that the dog should remain disqualified. All awards earned at a dog show in violation of this rule shall be cancelled by the CKC and the owner of the dog is subject to disciplinary action. 9. Exhibitors and handlers will be responsible for their dogs and for their equipment left at the Show Grounds. 10. For the benefit of the health of animals and the pleasure of the exhibitors and spectators we insist upon keeping our grounds and buildings as clean as possible. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Please exercise your dog BEFORE taking it to the Judging ring. Dogs are to be exercised in the designated areas only, not in the vicinity of the ring areas. 11. No entry fee will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, and Act of God, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the Club. 12. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee.

CHILLIWACK FIRE DEPT. RULES: Extension cords may NOT be laid across an aisle. Power bars are not permitted. Aisles must be kept open at all times to allow everyone easy and speedy exit in case of emergency. All designate FIRE LANES must be kept clear at all times or vehicles will be towed at owner s expense. ADDITIONAL CLUB RULES: Breeds will not be judged out of order. Exhibitors will be responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Violators will be asked to leave the show grounds. Crates will be allowed at ringside during the judging of your specific breed only and must be removed immediately after. No Exceptions. Dogs are not allowed in washrooms. The welfare of an exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that you will exercise control and restraint over the children in your care on the days of these shows. The Club is not responsible for lost or stolen property from exhibitors or venders/concessions. The Club will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of accident or misfortune to either dogs, exhibitors, spectators or vendors. Delays waiting for dogs are not possible and handlers with several breeds must arrange for alternate handlers if judging times for their dogs conflict. The club reserves the right of restricting exhibitors grooming space. Plastic sheeting must be under all expens. Any tape used in the building has to be easily removable and must be removed after the show is competed. Colored tape is not allowed. You must leave your setup in the same clean condition you found it in when you first arrived at the show. Unless permission is granted in writing by the Mount Cheam Canine Association, there will not be any handling and/or training classes operated or offered by anyone in any part of the Heritage Park facility exclusively being used by the club. No liquid waste is to be disposed of in garbage cans.

CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB SCHEDULE OF CHAMPIONSHIP POINTS SECTION 2. The schedule to be employed in the determination of the number of points to be allocated to a dog awarded WINNERS shall be as follows: (*Includes the dog awarded Winners.) Dogs Competing* 1 2 3 to 5 6 to 9 10 to 12 13 or more Points Allocated* 0 1 2 3 4 5 To determine the number of championship points earned by a dog awarded Winners, total all the dogs in competition which the dog defeated, directly or indirectly, for the highest of the following official breed awards: Winners, Best of Winners, Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex and then consult the schedule set forth above. A dog that is disqualified, dismissed, excused or ordered from the ring by the judge shall not be included in the calculation for championship points. Further section 15.1.12 {C} has been added and states the dog must: have earned at least one 2 point win either at the breed level or group level. The system provides for additional points if a dog awarded winners also places in the Group as listed here under. To earn a Canadian Championship, a dog must earn at least ten championship points under at least three different judges; and be individually registered with the Canadian Kennel Club, or have a CKC Event Registration Number (ERN).

AGREEMENT I (we) acknowledge that I (we), all exhibitors, handlers and patrons, know and abide by the CKC Dog Show Rules, and that I am (we are) familiar with their content. I (we) agree that the Club holding this show has the right to refuse this entry for cause, which the Club shall deem to be sufficient. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of the Show and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prize money, ribbons or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the Mount Cheam Canine Association, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or show secretary and the owner or lessor of the premises and any employees of the aforementioned parties, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of a dog while in or upon the show premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim, and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss of a dog by disappearance, theft, death or otherwise, and from any claim for damage or injury to the dog, whether such loss, disappearance, theft, damage or injury be caused or alleged to be caused by the negligence of the Club or any of the parties aforementioned, or by the negligence of any other person, or any other cause or causes. I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this show, howsoever such injuries, death or damage to property may be caused and whether or not the same may have been caused and whether or not the same may have alleged to have been caused by negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees or agents, or any other person.
