Haven t been able to contact Aljean. No one has heard from her. Will need to find someone to do breakfast. Sheltie Rescue set to do the raffle. We need to reserve the park for 2019 trial. Potential judges for next year Debbie Wheeler, Kylie Bourke, Ken Boyd, Lori Sage, Jamie Horacek. July Conformation Show Judges Brandol Eads, Robette Johns. Summer Barbecue To be determined. Either at the Kogans or Joyce s. Next Meeting Monday, April 23 at Lulu s in the valley. Meeting Adjourned 9 pm. Cheryl Anderson Had a great first-time judging 17 of my breeds at the Phoenix cluster in Feb, including 3 specialties. Had several #1 dogs, along with many who were ranked, and two of my winners who showed later at Westminster and did well! Was fun to watch 3 of my BOB dogs place in the group that eve, and the one went RBIS. Love judging all the breeds in addition to Shelties. A good dog is a good dog is a good dog, no matter what the breed! We used to sit around and watch groups to learn, but it's rare to do that anymore. I found I learn a lot swimming in the big sea of all dog breeds...wish I'd followed this new judging path years ago! It's fun to get "hands on" lots more good dogs! Marie Eguro Aratone I'm Wicket Good "Tinkerbell" takes WB and then BOB over the Special both days at Silver Bay KC. Aratone Royal Keepsake "Kylee" earned her OAJ and OA titles with 1st place wins. She is a full litter sister to "Tinkerbell" 2

HEIGHT CARD POLICY New Height card policy Effective January 1, 2011, exhibitors are no longer required to provide proof to Trial Secretaries that their dog has a valid jump height card as part of the check-in process. Furthermore, this change eliminates the need for a copy of the jump height card to be submitted with an entry form. If a dog is measured by an AKC Field Representative or Volunteer Measuring Official (VMO) and is now eligible to jump in a lower height class, the measurement is effective immediately for any future runs, including any runs (regular or preferredclass) which have not yet occurred on the same day that the measurement is recorded. This immediate action does notapply to measurements taken as part of completing the challenge measurement process. DOG ELIGIBLE TO ENTER This trial is open to all dogs over the age of 15 months that are registered with the American Kennel Club or are registerable dogs that have obtained an AKC PAL or ILP number. Dogs should be physically sound. Dogs that are blind shall not be eligible, and neither are bitches in season, aggressive dogs, or dogs suffering from any deformity, injury, or illness which may affect the dog s physical or mental performance. No dog shall compete if it is taped or bandaged in any way or has anything attached to it for medical purposes. Refer to Chapter 2 of the Registration and Discipline Rules for the listing of registerable breeds that may participate. Puppies under six months of age are strictly prohibited from the trial grounds. Inquiries may be directed to Larry Ribbeck at larryribbeck@aol.com No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Illegible entries will not be processed and will be returned to the exhibitor. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry and the Trial Secretary will add a $20.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. The walk-through is restricted to handlers entered in that class only. A warm-up area, consisting of a regulation agility jump, may be provided for exhibitors. The warm-up area is to be used exclusively for warming up the dog and not for training or relieving of the dog. RIBBONS, AWARDS, AND PRIZES Rosettes will be awarded for 1-4 in each jump height division in each class as follows: First Place.............Blue Second Place......... Red Third Place...... By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all obstacles safely. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the trial committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. The TVSSC and its agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibilities for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. The TVSSC reserves the right to decline entries for cause and may remove any dog on account of aggression. No one shall have any recourse or claim against the TVSSC or any official thereof. All dogs must be on leash at all times when on trial grounds except when in the designated warm-up area or competing on the course. REFUNDS No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. No entry fee will be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by the action of the Trial Committee. Bitches in season are not permitted to compete in Agility Trials. As such, the club will refund half of the entry fees per day for bitches unable to compete for this reason if the Trial Secretary receives WRITTEN notice of withdrawal no later than 6pm, Thursday, April 5. RINGSIDE Dogs may arrive any time prior to judging, if a valid copy of their jump height card was sent with their entry. Otherwise, they must be available for measuring prior to the start of their class. All dogs not needed for further judging will be excused. Judges are not required to wait for dogs. The Owner of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when it is to be judged. The Club has no responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required.
