SHOW RULES 1. All Exhibitors must show at their club status. 2. All Judges Decisions to be final. 3. All British Birds must be Closed Rung with correct size BBC, IOA, or DOE Closed Rings, No Un-Rung Birds will be accepted. (Except mules and hybrids) 4. All Exhibits must be the Bona fide Property of the Exhibitor. 5. Exhibitors and Visitors must refrain from Handling the Exhibits or using a Judge Stick. 6. In the case of Dispute, Protests must be made in writing to the Society Officials during the course of the show, enclosing a deposit of 15 which will be refunded if the protest is proven to be reasonable. 7. The decision of the Dagenham & District CBS Show committee will be final in any protest. 8. Cheques and Postal Orders must be made payable to: DAGENHAM & DISTRICT CBS ~ and not any Individual of the Society. 9. Novice exhibits entered in the wrong classes will be reclassified. 10. The Show will be governed by the Dagenham & District CBS Show Rules. 11. The Society reserves the right not to put on the Show benches any exhibit which in their opinion is unsuitable. 12. The age limit in the Juvenile Section will be 16 years. 13. Only members of Dagenham CBS can win the cash prizes on offer, you can become a member on your entry form. WILL ALL EXHIBITORS PLEASE READ THIS PAGE CAREFULLY Dear Exhibitor / Member, The Committee of the Dagenham & District CBS have proposed the following show entry criteria in the hope of increasing the membership of our society, please bear in mind that this show is the Club s show window displaying our wares and with this in mind we hope that you support it by entering your birds. We have proposed the following. ENTRIES TO THE SHOW SECRETARY ONLY MR STEVE WALLIS, C/O VISTA WORKSPACE SOLUTIONS LTD UNIT 3, 28 30 FOWLER ROAD, HAINAULT, ESSEX, IG6 3UT MOBILE 07914 851966 Only members of Dagenham CBS can win the cash prizes on offer, you can become a member on your entry form. If less than 7 birds in a class, only 50% of the prize money will be paid. Please remember to enclose a Self-Address Envelope bearing a 1 st class stamp for the prompt return of your show cage stickers. It s important to add your telephone number clearly so that the Show secretary may contact you if required. SHOW TIMES 8.00am. ~ Hall opens. Bio-security measures to be put into practice at this time for duration of Show. 8.00am. ~ The canteen will be open serving hot food, tea and cold drink etc. 8.00am 9.30am. ~ Show secretary will be available to book birds in. Please ensure your cage number stickers are still in place and on the right entry. Hand your birds over to the Stewards, who will attend to the watering requirements of each, and place them in the class you have indicated. Seed and Husk will be allowed in cages. 10.00am 10.30am Approx. ~ Judging to commence, only Show Duty Stewards will be allowed in the show section of the Hall during the Judging period. 1.30pm Approx. ~ Show Manager will decide and approve the opening of the Show for public viewing. 3.30pm 3.45pm ~ Awards presentation & Raffle Draw & Raffle 4.00pm ~ Show Manager to announce when he is ready for the Bird lift/check out to proceed.

BRITISH BIRDS No Unrung British Birds will be accepted. All British birds must be rung with the correct size closed ring. Either the IOA, BBC or DOE must issue rings, NO other ring will be accepted at this show. Species listed on schedule 3 part 1 of the Wildlife and Countryside act 1981 and the DOE Licence WLF 100094/5 & WLF 100007 will be accepted on the condition that the owner will be responsible for providing proof of ownership to any Official law enforcement agency if requested. Any schedule 4 Softbill up to and including the size of a Wheatear may be exhibited in singles or pairs, any large Softbill must be exhibited as a single bird only.
