Riel TOY DOG CLUB OF PUGET SOUND SWEEPSTAKES SATURDAY ONLY Dogs and Bitches between the ages of 6 months and under 12 months are eligible for the Sweepstakes. Sweepstakes entry fee is $12.00, in addition to regular entry fee. All dogs entered in Sweepstakes must be entered in a regular class at this show. SWEEPSTAKES CLASSIFICATION All Toy Breeds will be shown together in one Sweepstakes. Classes will be divided as follows: Puppy Dogs (6 mos. & under 9 mos.) Puppy Bitches (6 mos. & under 9 mos.) Puppy Dogs (9 mos. & under 12 mos.) Puppy Bitches (9 mos. & under 12 mos.) DIVISION OF SWEEPSTAKES FUND The Toy Dog Club of Puget Sound will deduct 35% from each entry to help defray a portion of Sweepstakes expenses. The remaining 65% of entry fees will be divided as follows: Best in Sweepstakes, 7% Best of Opposie Sex to Best in Sweepstakes, 3% Of the remaining 55%, the following division will be made in each class: First Prize, 50% Second Prize, 25% Third Prize, 15% Fourth Prize, 10% SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES Best in Sweepstakes: 4x7 Snow Bird Polypropylene Mat and 15 lb bag of the premium Royal Canin Toy Breed formulated Dog Food. First through Fourth Prize, Each Class: Ribbon and 3.5 lb bag of the premium Royal Canin Toy Breed formulated Puppy Food. Winners of each Sweepstakes class will compete for Best in Sweepstakes. Any undistributed funds revert to the Club. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP COMPETITION NOVICE CLASS: For Boys and Girls who, at the time entries close, have not won three First Places, with competition present, in a Novice Class at a licensed or member show. NOVICE CLASS DIVIDED: Junior-10 years old and under 14 years old on the day of the show; Senior-14 years old and under 18 years old on the day of the show. BEST OF BREED COMPETITION The following categories of dogs may be entered and shown in Best of Breed Competition: dogs that are Champions of Record and dogs according to their owners records have completed the requirements for a Championship but whose Championships are unconfirmed. The showing of dogs whose Championships are unconfirmed is limited to a period of 90 days from the date of the show where a dog completed the requirements for a Championship according to the owners records. We are pleased be at the Radisson Hotel in Seattle, WA. We would like to return here every year in the future so we are asking everyone to please act responsibly and to follow a few simple rules. Anyone caught violating any of these rules could be subject to an AKC bench show hearing or a sanction from the club. No exercise pens allowed in the building due to space limitations. No dog bathing facilities on this show site or allowed in rooms This is a smoke-free show site. Smoking will not be permitted in the Ballrooms or crate areas. There will be no space for unentered dogs in the Show Ring and Crating areas. Exhibitors and handlers are required to keep their grooming and parking areas clean both during and after the show. Please set a good example of responsible dog ownership to our spectators and help us retain this site for future events. Parents are expected to supervise their children at all times. All dogs must be carried or crated through the lobby area, hallways and elevators. Each exhibitor is responsible to pick up after his/her own dog(s). The Show Chairman or any club member will have the authority to maintain order in the hotel, grooming area and parking lot. All club members will be policing the hotel grounds and anyone caught violating the rules will be reported to the Show Chairman. 8 - TOY DOG CLUB OF PUGET SOUND

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS The American Kennel Club Rules and Regulations will govern this Show and Exhibitors must make themselves familiar with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry blanks that accompany this Show Premium List. Effective for events held on and after January 1, 2004, the AKC will collect a $1.50 AKC Event Service Fee for the first entry of a dog in all AKC licensed and member dog shows, obedience trials, and tracking tests. The current 50 cent recording fee will continue to be collected. A show-giving club shall assume the responsibility of collecting all Recording Fees and Event Service Fees for the AKC. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the Event/Recording Fees to be collected on the first entry only. (AKC Rule. Chapter 11, Section 2). CANADIAN EXHIBITORS MUST SUBMIT ENTRIES WITH CHECKS DRAWN ON U.S. ACCOUNTS OR WITH INTER- NATIONAL MONEY ORDERS IN U.S. FUNDS Dogs need be present only for scheduled judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs must be ready for judging. Neither the club nor its Superintendent will be responsible or obligated to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging. Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. No Entry will be accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Telegraph, e-mail and unsigned entries cannot be accepted and will be returned. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and Photocopies of Entry Forms without the Agreement and Rules on the reverse side are NOT ACCEPTABLE. The Club and/or its Superintendent assumes no responsibility for wrong or incomplete information given on the entry blank by the owner or the owner s agent. RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLETENESS OF ANY ENTRY RESTS SOLELY WITH ENTRANT. Entry fees shall NOT be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, sick, lame, excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee, or because it has been entered incorrectly. There is no refund of entry fee for bitches in season. There is no refund for DUPLICATE ENTRIES or OVERPAYMENTS. The Superintendent will make every effort to find all duplicate entries, but if entry has been processed, no refund will be made. If, because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open, or to complete the Show NO REFUND will be made. RETURNED CHECKS DO NOT CONSTITUTE A VALID ENTRY FEE. The Superintendent will add a $20.00 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Subsequent returned checks from the same exhibitor or agent may result in their being put on a CASH ONLY BASIS. REFUNDS for cancellations due to judge change or cancellations made prior to entries closing will be mailed to said Exhibitor or Agent AFTER THE SHOW. An administrative fee of $5.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. JUNIOR SHOWMANSHIP SUBSTITUTION OF DOG. There will be an Administrative Fee of $5.00 charged for any substitution of dog in Junior Showmanship at each show. Only dogs eligible for this show will be admitted into the show area. There is no provision for unentered dogs. The judging will start promptly. Dogs may arrive anytime prior to their time of judging, and may leave immediately thereafter, unless required for further judging. ENTRIES WILL BE ACKNOWLEDGED after entries close with entry acknowledgment and judging program to address on entry. Should Exhibitor NOT receive an acknowledgment within a reasonable time, PLEASE notify the Superintendent at (360) 683-1507 or email dogshows@barayevents.com. LOSS OR DAMAGE The Show Committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of any accident or misfortune, to either dogs or exhibitors participating in these Shows. The welfare of an Exhibitor s child is assumed to be the responsibility of the Exhibitor. It is distinctly understood that Exhibitors will exercise control and restraint over their children on the day of the show. FAX ENTRIES Fax entries will be accepted up to closing time.
