Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Secretary will add a $30 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, or excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the show giving club, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refunds will be made. Please potty your dog often. If there is an accident, there is a charge of $5 to offset the cleaning of the turf. REFUND POLICYBitches in season are not permitted to compete in obedience/rally trials. The club will refund the entry fee for bitches in season that are unable to compete for that reason. Refund requests must be accompanied by a dated, signed letter on official business letterhead from your veterinarian stating the reason that your dog cannot compete. The Trial Secretary must be notified no later than one half hour prior to the start of the first class in the trial. E-mails, phone calls and non-letterhead notes will not be considered. TRANSFERS: Transfers will be permitted in accordance with Obedience Regulations, Chapter 1, Section 16. The request for a transfer must be in writing and presented to the trial secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the trial. No crating indoors, outdoors only. No ex-pens. No unentered dogs please. No dogs under 4 months of age on show grounds. All dogs present must be on leash, except when being judged. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s). Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Show Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. Cleaning supplies and disposal sites will be available at various locations around the show grounds. No more than 3 dogs (teams) will be permitted in the facility at one time. Trial Monitor will alert participants of the order for those waiting to come in. The judge is not required to wait for dogs. It is the responsibility of the owner/handler to have the dog at ringside when required and without being called. All dogs present must be held on a leash, or confined to a crate except when being judged. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create unnecessary disturbances or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the Event Committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. The host club, GFKC Show Secretary Services and its agents, employees, etc. will assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. If the event class in which you are entering your dog is divided, then, in addition to designating the class, specify the particular division of the class in which you are entering your dog, i.e., age division, color division, weight division. 4. A dog must be entered in the name of the person who actually owned it at the time the entries for a show closed. If a registered dog has been acquired by a new owner it must be entered in the name of its new owner in any event for which entries closed after the date of the acquirement, regardless of whether the new owner has received the registration certificate indicating that the dog is recorded in his name.
