Answers to last month s puzzles: Something to Remember In order for Meals on Wheels to deliver food safely, someone must be at home to receive it! We simply cannot leave the food outside your door. It is unsafe, as the food is no longer under someone s control anything can happen to it, from animals or insects violating the container; the temperature of hot food goes down, while the temperature of the cold or frozen food goes up, and food must be kept within a certain range of proper temperature to keep it healthy. If you are not going to be home when we come by, please call us preferably a few days or more in advance, so we can save a little money by not ordering your meal for that day. Our office number is 940-627-5329. If we attempt to deliver and no-one is there, we will not leave the food outside. After the second failed attempt to deliver to your address, you will be removed from our list until you call us.
