Agility Team GB - International Tour General Regulations The following regulations apply to all Agility Team GB International Tour competitions and heats. All events must be judged under the appropriate and most up to date FCI rules & regulations in force at the time of the event (FCI Agility Regulations, FCI Agility Obstacle Guidelines & FCI Agility Judging Guidelines: http://www.fci.be/en/agility-45.html). Competitors entering any competition will be deemed to have agreed to abide by these regulations. All heats must take place at Kennel Club Premier licensed shows and the class name in the schedule should replicate exactly the name of the competition as stated in these regulations. Dogs entered in any heats must be eligible for the competition entered. Judges have the right to check the dog s Kennel Club Agility Record Book to ensure the dog is running in the correct height category. Where points are accumulated throughout the year these will be allocated to the specific handler and dog partnership (no substitution of dog or handler may be made). If more than one dog and handler partnership are on the same number of points after all heats have been completed, the dog and handler partnership which has achieved the highest place at a heat will take preference in the final allocation of places. Should this still not be sufficient, the process shall continue until a difference in the highest place is recognised.
Agility Team GB International Tour General The Team GB International Tour is a special agility competition. The competition is open to small, medium, large dogs who currently compete in Grades 4-7. The competition will consist of three different height categories; Small, Medium & Large. Small dogs will compete over jumps measuring 30cm, Medium dogs at 40cm and Large dogs at 60cm and the competition will be run under FCI regulations with the following exceptions: 1. Bitches in season with NOT be eligible to enter any heat of the International Tour, as per the Kennel Club Agility Regulations 2019. 2. Dogs will be permitted to compete wearing collars that comply with Kennel Club Agility Regulations 2019 at the discretion of the owner. NOTE: Within the FCI regulations there are a number of guidelines and rules that are left open to interpretation, more to do with course measuring and trial procedure as well as some minor differences in equipment dimensions. Where possible however, the rules will be implemented as seen in the FCI Agility Regulations (http:// www.fci.be/medias/agi-reg-2018-en-7610.pdf). Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact the tour coordinator, Neil Ellis to discuss these: neil-ellis@hotmail.com. At least one member of the International Tour Project Team will be in attendance at the heat to help with the running of the heat. Should one of the team be a designated judge for that heat, another member of the team will be present where possible.
Eligibility Heats will consist of an agility round and a jumping round, with both classes being set at FCI Level 3; (Kennel Club equivalent of grades 6 & 7) in an FCI international size ring (40m x 25m). The running order of the jumping round will be a random draw, the agility round will run in reverse order of the final results of the jumping round. Large dogs will compete over a different course to the small & medium dogs. The same handler must run the dog in both rounds of the Heat. Competitors may enter more than one dog in a heat. Current Agility Team GB Junior and Senior Squad members will receive first preference on entering. The entry numbers will be capped large (100), medium (50), small (50).
