As stated, PDCA Code of Ethics will be followed and the HolsteinUSA Showring Policy. Please familiarize yourself and your staff with it. The barns, surrounding areas, and warm up ring will be monitored. Hair will be measured at one and one half inches. No unethical practice in preparation or presentation of animals will be tolerated. Violations will be reported to Show management and necessary action taken. Owners, as well as anyone involved in the care or preparation of cattle, are held responsible by the signing of entry form. 1b. Each exhibitor, or accumulated string, will receive a hair measuring device and PDCA Show Ring Code of Ethics at barn check in. 1c. Ultrasound monitoring will be utilized in the milking cow classes on Saturday, April 6 th and Sunday, April 7 th. The top 3 animals in each class will be required to be ultrasounded, with one additional random animal and/or the top placing junior owned animal. Show management reserves the right to select any animal to be ultrasounded. 2.
