ERN NUMBERS Effective Jan. 1992, all dogs that are foreign born and foreign owned and enter Canada for the sole purpose of entering CKC events no longer require a CKC registration number but will require an event registration number (ERN). This ERN number does not register a dog with the CKC for breeding purposes as defined in the Animal Pedigree Act, but rather enables a foreign owned dog to be awarded titles by the CKC. Each dog must have its own number. To obtain an ERN number, mail or fax a photocopy of the dog s foreign registration certificate with a cheque or VISA/Mastercard number, (expiry date, cardholders name and signature). Provide your complete address for return of ERN number. Cost $55.00. ERN number must be applied for within 30 DAYS of the FIRST day of entering a CKC event.

CKC Non-Member Participation Fee 24-12-3. Non-member participation fee: a) An annual non-member participation fee for awards and titles will be charged to a Canadian nonmember of CKC. The fee will match the ERN fee. b) In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choice either to become a CKC member or to pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will cause all awards and titles to be cancelled. c) "these fees apply only to dogs wholly owned by Canadian resident non-ckc members and are not applicable to CKC members" *Please note that the CKC Membership Application and the Non-Member Participation Fee forms are available on the website, http://www.ckc.ca under CKC Services and then Forms On-line. If submitting a Membership Application, please ensure that you also complete the Non-Member Participation Fee form so that we are aware of the dogs involved. GENERAL INFORMATION 1. ENTRY FEES SHALL NOT BE REFUNDED AFTER THE CLOSING DATE in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of Show Committee, or because it has been entered incorrectly. If because of riot, civil disturbance, or other acts beyond the control of the Club, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry will be made. 2. ALL DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEASH WHILE ON THE GROUNDS. You are responsible for cleaning up if you permit your dog to relieve itself outside the show building. Failure to do so may result in being expelled from the building for one day s showing by the Superintendent. 3. All empty rings are to be kept free of dogs. 4. SHOW PRECINCTS: Camrose Regional Exhibition, excluding the commercial booth space and the front foyer. 5. DOGS MUST BE KEPT UNDER CONTROL AT ALL TIMES.
