RULES OF THE SHOW RABBIT SECTION WEDNESDAY 20 JUNE 2018 1 The Show is to be held under BRC Rules. 2 No rail stock will be accepted. Pen numbers will be given on arrival at the Show. 3 Closing date for entries will be 9 June 2018. 4 All exhibits are to be the bona-fide property of the exhibitor and to have been vaccinated in accordance with official recommendations. 5 The Committee reserve the right to refuse or return entries and appoint another judge should any named judge be unable to officiate for any reason. 6 Judging will commence at 10.00 am Lifting time for all exhibits will be 5.00 pm. Stock will be checked in. 7 Whilst at the Show, the whole of the exhibits are in the custody of the Show Committee and must not be handled by the exhibitor or any other person. 8 Any exhibit considered fraudulently prepared or a health hazard will be removed from the Show. 9 Every care will be taken of the exhibits, but the Society cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred before, during or after the Show. 10 Prize monies will be paid out at 4.30 pm on Show Day in the marquee. 11 Anyone wishing to lodge a complaint or objection may do so, in writing, and by depositing 1.00 with the Rabbit or Cavy Secretary before 12 noon on Show Day. The deposit will be refunded if the objection is upheld. 12 No stock other than those entered in the Show will be admitted to the marquee. 13 Trophies remain the property of the Cheshire Agricultural Society CIO and will only be given to the winning exhibitor. Trophies must be signed for and returned to the Cheshire Agricultural Society CIO by 1 April the following year at the exhibitor s own expense and in the condition that it was received; otherwise the exhibitor will be responsible for a replacement trophy or reasonable cost of repair. No engraving is permitted as this will be done by the Society. The Society retains the right to withhold any trophy without disclosing their reason. 14 Any exhibitor, on making entries, is deemed to have read and agreed to abide by these rules. 15 Any exhibitor, on making entries totalling between 8.00 and 13.00 will qualify for one free entry pass. Entries totalling over 13.00 will qualify for a second entry pass. Cheaper advance rate admission tickets to the Show may be obtained by application to the Show Office or online at www.royalcheshiretyshow.org.uk, prices for these are: ADVANCE TICKET PRICES: ADULT : 17.00 CHILD : 8.00 (CHILD 5 YEARS & UNDER FREE) FAMILY : 40.00 16 Car passes will be issued to exhibitors at the discretion of the Society as space for parking is limited. Exhibitors who receive car passes must agree to park in the areas allocated. There is no charge for parking. 17 Entry forms and monies to be posted to CHESHIRE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY CIO at the address on the entry form. Cheques/Postal Orders to CHESHIRE AGRICULTURAL SOCIETY CIO. 18 Exhibitors please enter your Exhibits in the section duplicates applicable to your breed only (ie Dwarfs in Dwarf Duplicates only). This will enable the Judge to complete his section without having to wait for Exhibits in other sections. 19 In the interests of safety, no dogs will be allowed in the Rabbit areas. 20 All electrical equipment of any description brought to the Show must have a current PAT test certificate. 21 Current animal welfare legislation applies at this Show and the Society will support any action where any breach of such legislation occurs. RABBITS BRC 3 SHOW WEDNESDAY 20 JUNE 2018 This Show is staged by Sandbach Original Rabbit Society Exhibitors will be allowed to unload vehicles at the rear of the marquee. Access to the marquee from the exhibitor car park will be strictly managed and your total co-operation is needed to ensure that once you have unloaded your vehicle it is immediately returned to the car park. Each Exhibitor shall be solely responsible for any loss, injury or damage that may be done to or occasioned by, or arising from any machinery, or other article, or any animal, or property exhibited by him. It is a condition of entry that each Exhibitor shall indemnify and hold harmless the Show from and against all actions, suits, expenses and claims on account of such damage or injury. 6
