Prizes FIRST PLACE - David Flanagan offers a Sterling Silver Plate with wood base to the winner. To be won three times by the identical owner(s), not necessarily with the same dog or at consecutive NCC trials. The Fallen Wings Trophy -- offered by Michael and Rumi Schroeder, crystal vase on wood base, to the breeder of the dog or bitch winning the National Cocker Championship. A commemorative replica will be given to the winner for permanent possession. *Possession of the above challenge trophies to remain with the ECSCA until retired. Each sponsor will have a personalized sign placed at the start of the sponsored series and be recognized in the catalogue. Cost is $300 for a single series or $500 for all six series. Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting therefrom, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves) or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons. I (we) agree that any cause of action, controversy or claim arising out of or related to the entry, exhibition or attendance at the event between the AKC and/or this club and myself (ourselves) or as to the construction, interpretation and effect of this Agreement shall be settled by arbitration pursuant to the applicable rules of the American Arbitration Association. However, prior to arbitration all applicable AKC Bylaws, rules and procedures must first be followed as set forth in the AKC Charter and Bylaws, rules, published policies and guidelines. It combines both Open and Amateur points for a given year. The award is being given in memory of Mrs. Wilhelmina Garvan and Mrs. Ruth Greening. The history of this award was that it was designated for the best lady handler in the Cocker National. The award was initiated by Billie Garvan and won three times in a row by Mrs. Greening. It was retired in 1958. The award is being made possible thru the generosity of Mrs. Noel Cacchio, Billie s daughter, and Miss Mykenzie Lea Cotiaux. It is to honor those lady handlers of the past, present and future and their accomplishments afield. The Trophy to be retained by the winner for one year. Harold Bixby Award Trophy, The Harold S.
