DOGS NOT REQUIRED for further judging will be excused. JUDGES WILL NOT WAIT FOR ANY DOG HOLDING UP A CLASS. Owners or agents alone are responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging ring when their classes are called to be judged. The Show-giving club and the Superintendent have no obligation or responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. ALL DOGS PRESENT must be held on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged or when in the exercising ring. CLASS CASH PRIZES will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before the judging of that breed is over, and the Superintendent to be advised at once. The Super-intendent and Show-giving Club may disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging of the breed is over. THE SHOW COMMITTEE/SUPERINTENDENT will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, nor assume any liability in the event of an accident or misfortune to either dogs or exhibitors participating in this show. An administrative fee of $2.00 will be withheld from all refunds for entries cancelled prior to the closing of entries. Refund and Cash award checks are void after 180 days and will NOT be re-issued. 6

ATTENTION - IMPORTANT NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Exhibitors vehicles will NOT be permitted into the buildings for unloading. Building will open at 2:00 PM Wednesday and Close at 10:00 PM Show days the building will open a 6:00 AM and Close at 10:00 PM Private exercise pens will not be permitted between the hours of 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM Outdoor public exercise pens will be provided. All crates must be STACKED. LIMIT ONE DOG PER CRATE IN THE GROOMING AREA (NO SOFT SIDED CRATES ALLOWED) NO BATHING OF DOGS IN THE SHOW BUILDING. NO DOGS ALLOWED IN RESTROOMS ANY TIME (THIS WILL BE ENFORCED) All trophies and prizes must be claimed each day of the show. Trophies will not be mailed. Catalogs - $10.00 (Note: There will be a single four day catalog for four shows). Dogs are not permitted in the building restrooms at any time. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up their grooming area every DAY! NO Saving of Space the Days of the Shows. No Cones in parking area between 7 AM and 5 PM. The Show Building is designated as NO SMOKING area. The West Springfield Fire Department will strictly enforce this regulation. Please cooperate. Enforcement of the State Laws regarding handicapped parking areas will also be strict. Please observe these laws and do not park in these areas unless your vehicle is so designated. DIRECTIONS TO THE SHOW From The North - Take I-91 South to West Springfield - Exit 13B (sign reads Route 5, Riverdale Street, West Springfield). South on Route 5 to Route 147 West. Follow Route 147 West for one mile to Show Grounds and entrance on Left. Use Gate 9 for entrance to show grounds. From The South - Take I-91 North to Springfield - Exit 3 (sign reads Route 5, Columbus Avenue, Agawam, West Springfield). Follow Route 5 North to Route 147 West. Then as above. From The East or West - Take Mass Pike (I-80) to Exit 4. Follow signs marked Route 5, Riverdale Street, West Springfield" Take Route 5 South to Route 147 West, then as above. PARKING Eastern States has established their own parking policies. There is a $5.00 per day parking fee. This fee will be collected on entrance to the show grounds. Your receipt will allow in and out privileges for the day of purchase. Gate 2 (far west end of show grounds) is open 24 hours. Gate 9 (east end of show grounds before show building) should be open from 6:00 AM until 10:00 PM. Please note that the shows receive no portion of the parking fees. Eastern States offers an annual parking pass at the cost of $55.00 per year/per vehicle. These permit vehicle entrance and parking at any and all shows (except the Big E Fair) all during the year. They should be available at either gate entrance and at the Brooks Administration Building (during business hours). If you attend other shows on the grounds, it makes sense to consider the purchase of a sticker. They are good for automobiles and vans, but not for motorhomes. MOTOR HOME PARKING There will be space for overnight parking of campers and motor homes. The charges are $30.00 per day for 30 amp service and $40.00 a day for 50 amp service and collection of these fees will be administered by the Eastern States personnel. The club has no involvement in collecting parking fees and receive no portion of those fees. No air conditioners or high amperage appliances may be used due to the type of service provided. If you need to use high amperage applicances (dryers, microwaves, air conditioners, etc) please use your generator. Overloading circuits will result in tripped breakers. Restoring power may not be immediate, especially at night. Motor Home parking will be directed. It is expected that parking regulations will be complied with. No saving of multiple spaces will be permitted. No orange cones (or any other color) will be permitted for saving space. A Dump Station is provided on the show grounds at no charge. Please leave your parking areas clean. IN ORDER TO PREVENT SIGNIFICANT INCREASES in parking fees and SEVERE RESTRICTIONS on Motor Home Parking regulations, PLEASE RESPECT EASTERN STATES GROUNDS, PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT. PUBLICATION RIGHTS - By entering this show, all owners, handlers, breeders and kennels agree that all rights to televise, videotape, photograph, advertise, promote and publicize or otherwise exploit this show, or the persons or animals participating in it or the results of the competitiion before, during or after the event, shall belong solely to The American Kennel Club and their respective assigns, including the use of the names, likenesses or biographical matter of all dogs, owners, handlers, breeders and kennels participating in the show and no such owner, handler, breeder or kennel shall allow any other party to make commercial use of any videotape or photograph of any person or animal participating in this competition. 7
