ENTRY FEES REGULAR ENTRY* (for each class for each dog, per trial)...$29.00 LISTING FEE* (per dog, per trial). $11.00 *A listing fee is required for each dog that does not possess and individual CKC registration number, or if foreign born and owned, an Event Registration Number (ERN), a Performance Number (PEN) or a miscellaneous Class Certification Number (if designated as a Listed or Miscellaneous Breed with the Canadian Kennel Club). The fee is in addition to each entry for each trial EXHIBITION ONLY* (per dog/per trial)..$10.00 (this is a non-competitive class which allows a dog to be present on the trial grounds) PREPAID CATALOGUE... $10.00 Canine Companion Number (CCN) As of July 1, 2014, mixed breeds and unrecognized breeds are allowed to compete in the CKC Performance events of Obedience, Rally and Agility, provided that the club in question has so declared in its premium list to enter any trial. The dog must have a CCN. A dog in this category may not be entered as listed. The application form for the CCN can be found on the CKC website, under Forms OnLine, Registration.

MAKE ALL CHEQUES/MONEY ORDERS PAYABLE TO: D U MBBELL O B EDIENCE CLUB In payment of entry fees, the tendering of NSF cheques shall be considered nonpayment of entry fees and is punishable by disciplinary action and cancellation of awards. A collection fee of $35.00 will be added to the amount of any returned cheque. Fax entries and/or credit card payment will be accepted when accompanied by authorized VISA or MASTERCARD credit card number, expiry date and card holder s name. 10% of total fee will be added for FAX/Credit Card entries. Customers whose charges are declined by the Bank Card Authorization Department will be assessed a service charge of $35.00 for each transaction declined. Telephone entries are not accepted by the Show Secretary. Incomplete entries or entries received without fees, or entries received after the advertised closing date will not be accepted. There will be no refund on overpayments or duplicate entries. Please mail entries early to ensure that they are received before the closing date No Refunds on overpayments or duplicate entries. INFORMATION ON THESE SHOWS AND TRIALS THE AUTHORITIES OF ANY SHOW MAY: (A) Decline to accept entries for just cause and/or (B) Refuse to receive or may remove any dog from the show grounds on account of disease or viciousness. In the case of Non-acceptance, the fee shall be returned with the reason for non-acceptance. No one shall have claim or recourse against the organization holding the show, or any official connected therewith for the refusal of any entry. ATTENTION: FOREIGN EXHIBITORS Please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian dollars. Due to consistently fluctuating currency rates, discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however, they are to be payable in Canadian Funds. If you sent a cheque in US funds, it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. Please DO NOT make cheques Payable in Canadian Funds or At Par. They will not be cleared by the banks. To simplify the process, we urge that you purchase bank drafts or money orders payable in Canadian Funds. BORDER CROSSING: A Rabies Certificate is required to bring a dog into Canada. Government regulations require this Certificate and MUST be dated at least 30 days prior to re-entry into the US FEMALES IN SEASON AS PERTAINS TO TRIAL: When a bitch comes into season after entry of the bitch has been submitted to the trial secretary, a veterinarian s certificate, certifying that the bitch was in season within the 10 day period preceding the trial, must reach the trial secretary on or before the date of the trial. The entry fee and listing fee will be refunded. IN THE EVENT OF A POSTAL STRIKE: Telephone entries may be made in accordance with the CKC Dog Show Rules. GENERAL RULES COVERING THESE SHOWS AND TRIALS 1. The club reserves the right to remove any person from the show. The show superintendent shall have full control of the above shows and trials, which will be governed by CKC rules. 2. The show committee will use due care and diligence for the welfare of dogs and exhibitors, but will not be responsible for, or assume any liability in the event of, accident or other misfortune, to either dogs, exhibitors or patrons. 3. A judge or any person participating in any capacity at a dog show held under CKC rules shall not be subjected to any indignity of any kind during the progress of the show and it shall be the duty and obligation of the club holding the show to see that this rule is effectively carried out. The show superintendent shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of the rule, and the discipline committee shall have the power to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indication that this rule has been violated. 4. Exhibitors are solely responsible for the conduct or actions of their animals while they are on the show grounds. 5. Dogs must be on the grounds one hour before the judging of their classes, and may be removed when not required for further judging. 6. DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING. The club will not be responsible for and is not obligated to provide any service for notifying owners or agents of Breed or Class judging. No ring shall be held up waiting exhibitors or handlers. Exhibitors and handlers with more than one dog shall have substitute handlers available so that judging will not be delayed. 7. The owner of a dog entered in these shows is entirely responsible for any error in entering his dog, regardless of how or by whom the entry was made. 8. A dog once disqualified for any reason at a championship show held under these rules cannot again be shown at a show held under these rules until the dog has been examined by an official committee appointed by the CKC and the committee finds the dog is free from the condition which prompted the disqualification. Application for reinstatement must be accompanied by a fee of $25.00 which shall be forfeited to the CKC if the examining committee is satisfied that the dog should remain disqualified. All awards earned by a dog shown in violation of this rule shall be cancelled by the CKC and the owner of the dog is subject to disciplinary action. 9. Exhibitors and handlers will be responsible for their dogs and for their equipment left at the show grounds. 10. For the benefit of the health of animals and the pleasure of the exhibitors and the spectators we insist upon keeping our grounds as clean as possible. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs. Please exercise your dog BEFORE taking it to the judging ring. Dogs are to be exercised in the designated areas only, NOT in the vicinity of the ring areas. 11. No entry fees will be refunded if the show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of god, public emergency, act of public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of the club. 12. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by the veterinarian or judge, or barred from competition by action of the show committee. 13. The use of PUBLIC ADDRESS SYSTEM will be kept to an absolute minimum. Therefore, IT WILL BE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE EXHIBITORS TO HAVE THEIR DOGS AT RINGSIDE, WHEN NECESSARY. There will be no paging for individual dogs. 14. The washrooms are strictly for human use by order of the health department. Offenders will be removed from the grounds for the duration of the shows. EXHIBITORS PLEASE NOTE: IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE EXHIBITOR TO BE FAMILIAR WITH THE RULES PERTAINING TO THE EVENT IN WHICH THEY ARE COMPETING. THE DOG SHOW RULES & OBEDIENCE AND RALLY OBEDIENCE REGULATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM: THE CANADIAN KENNEL CLUB 200 RONSON DRIVE, SUITE 400 ETOBICOKE, ONTARIO M9W 5Z9 CKC website: http://www.ckc.ca EVENT REGISTRATION NUMBERS Effective Jan/1992 all dogs that are foreign-born and foreign-owned and enter Canada for the sole purpose of entering CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) events will no longer require a CKC registration number but will require an ERN - Event Registration Number. This ERN does not register a dog with CKC for breeding purposes as defined in the Animal Pedigree Act but rather enables a foreign-owned dog to be awarded titles by the Canadian Kennel Club. Each dog must have its own number. To obtain an ERN, mail or fax a photocopy of the dog's foreign registration certificate with cheque or VISA/MasterCard number (expiry date, cardholder's name and signature). Provide your complete address for return of the ERN to you. Cost is $59.40 plus 5% GST. ERN MUST BE APPLIED FOR WITHIN 30 DAYS OF FIRST DAY OF ENTERING A CKC EVENT. A CKC ERN registration form can be downloaded from the CKC website: http://www.ckc.ca CCN NUMBER (Canine Companion Number) Allows mixed breeds and unrecognized breed dogs to participate in the CKC Performance Events: Agility; Obedience and Rally Obedience. To enter any Trial, the dog MUST have a CCN. A dog is this category may not be entered as Listed. The application form for the CCN can be found on the CKC website, under Forms Online, Registration. For more information and to register, go to this link: http://www.ckc.ca/files/forms/shows-trials/event-supplies/canine-companion NON- MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE A non-member participation fee will be charged to a resident of Canada who is a nonmember of the CKC. The non-member participation fee is paid in any year a title is earned and covers all titles and dogs owned by that individual. In order for the title to be awarded, the non-member will have a choice to either become a CKC member or pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will result in the title being withheld and the dog cannot be moved up to the next level. The fee applies only to dogs wholly owned by non-member residents of Canada and is not applicable to CKC members.

Rally Ring size will be 50 x 45. RALLY OBEDIENCE CLASSES Order of judging will be determined at the close of entries. All dogs must enter and leave the ring on leash. No dog may be entered in both Rally Excellent A and Rally Excellent B at any one trial. The following classes will be offered in each Rally Obedience trial: Rally Novice A, Rally Novice B, Rally Intermediate, Rally Advanced A, Rally Advanced, B, Rally Excellent A, Rally Excellent B, Rally Master. RALLY NOVICE A: Dogs competing in this class may not have earned the R. N. title or any CKC Obedience title other than P.C.D. No handler who has exhibited a dog through its CKC C.D.X. title shall be eligible to enter this class. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, co-owner, or a member of their immediate families. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. All exercises are judged on leash, and all dogs must enter and leave the ring on leash. RALLY NOVICE B: Any dog may compete in this class until a qualifying score in the Rally Advanced Class is earned. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. All exercises are judged on leash, and all dogs must enter and leave the ring on leash. RALLY INTERMEDIATE: The Rally Intermediate Class is an elective class and earning the title is not a requirement to enter Rally Advanced Classes. (CKC rules, 10.1.2) This class shall be for dogs that have earned the R.N. title. A dog completing the R.I. or any other obedience or rally titles may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. This class (performed on leash, no jumps, no A or B division) may be entered indefinitely. Judges would ordinarily use the same course for it as for their Advanced Classes, substituting one other exercise for the jump required in Advanced. RALLY ADVANCED A: This class shall be for dogs that have won the Rally Novice (R. N.) title but have not won the Rally Advanced (R. A.) title or any CKC Novice Obedience title. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, co-owner, or a member of their immediate families. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. A dog may continue to compete in this class after the owner has been notified by at least 2 different judges that the dog has won 3 qualifying scores in this class. However, a dog may not be entered or exhibited in this class in any rally trial after the owner has received official notification from the CKC that the dog has won the title. All dogs must enter and leave the ring on leash. RALLY ADVANCED B: This class will be for dogs that have earned the R.N. title. A dog completing the R.A. title may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. All exercises are judged off leash. All dogs must enter and leave the ring on leash. No dog may be entered in both Rally Advanced A and Rally Advanced B at any one trial. RALLY EXCELLENT A: This class shall be for dogs that have earned the R. A. title, but have not earned the R. E. title or any CKC Obedience title other than P.C.D. No handler who has exhibited a dog through its CKC C.D.X. title shall be eligible to enter this class. The handler of any dog in this class must be the owner, coowner, or a member of their immediate families. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. All exercises are judged off leash. There is also a sit stay exercise after the finish sign. All dogs must enter and leave the ring on leash.

RALLY EXCELLENT B: This class will be for dogs that have earned the R.A. title. A dog completing the R.E. title may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. All exercises are judged off leash. There is a sit stay exercise after the finish sign. New- RALLY MASTER - This class will be for dogs that have earned the R.E. TITLE. A dog completing the R.M. title may continue to compete in this class indefinitely. The owner or any other person may handle dogs in this class. A person may enter more than one dog in this class. All dogs must enter and leave the ring on leash. No dog may be entered in both Rally Excellent A and Rally Excellent B at any one trial.
