NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Exhibitors, through submission of entry, acknowledge that they are knowledgeable of NADAC rules and regulations, and agree to abide by all rules in effect at the time of this trial. Current shoulder heights and jump heights, breed and weight exemptions, a description of classes, levels and divisions are included in the current Exhibitors Handbook. Through submission of their entry, the exhibitors acknowledge they are familiar with the rules in the current Exhibitors Handbook. Exhibitor s Handbooks are available free of charge by downloading from NADAC s web site at www.nadac.com. A hard copy of the handbook may be requested through the NADAC office free to current members and $5.00 to non-members. All dogs must have a NADAC dog registration number when entering a trial. Entries will not be accepted for dogs using pending in lieu of a number. Dogs can be registered on-line at www.nadac.com. IMPORTANT. Please check your dog's NADAC registration number on your trial confirmation as soon as you receive it; also, please check the copy of the results posted at the trial. You should report any errors to the Trial Secretary immediately. NADAC records trial results as they are submitted by the host clubs/groups. The individual trial results submitted by the club are uploaded to the www.nadacforum.com within two weeks after the NADAC office receives them from the club. Please accept the responsibility to review those results, and check that your registration number and qualifying points, as reported by the club, are correct. You can join the Forum by going to www.nadacforum.com and submitting your request. If you find an error in the reporting of your dog s qualifying points or registration number, please contact the host club. The host club is responsible for correcting any errors and informing NADAC. Levels. Points earned at a higher level of a class, prior to the completion of the lower level title, will not be recorded by NADAC for future use. If a dog earns points in a level of a class that they are not eligible to title in, those points will not be added to the dog's records. There shall be no refunds, cancellations, or changes for entries after the closing date, unless a veterinarian certificate verifies a bitch is in season. Please take responsibility for your dogs and children. The Calgary Canine Centre Ltd will not be responsible for the loss or damage of any dog exhibited, or for the possessions of any exhibitor whether the result was by accident or any other cause. Any exhibitor whose dogs or children create unnecessary disturbances or engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may be asked by the Trial Committee to leave the trial site. There will be no refunds for entries if a dog or handler is dismissed from a competition for any reason. Anyone not in good standing with NADAC will not be allowed entry. The Trial Committee reserves the right to refuse any entry. This event will be held outdoors on grass. Dogs must be kept under control always and must be on a leash unless competing. Dogs that are not Canadian Kennel Club registered are not allowed in the obedience area or the area where the conformation rings are located. Bring your own shade, chairs, pens or crates and water. Class Changes If you complete a title on Friday, you may move up to the next level on Saturday. There will be NO same day move ups. Class move up forms will be available at the Table. You are not required to move up to the next level until you wish to. Check In and Measuring Only dogs entering the Small and Medium dog classes are required to be measured at the trial prior to competing unless they have a NADAC permanent height card or are competing in skilled. Please bring height cards with you. Check in and measuring dogs will be Friday and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM. Judges briefing will be at 7:30 AM each day and first dog on the line at 8:00 AM.

Proficient/Skilled Categories: Each class will be split into two categories, Proficient and Skilled. In the Skilled Category, dogs MUST jump 4 lower than indicated by the current jump height table. (No dog may jump less than 4 ). In the Regular Agility class, dogs may incur 5 or fewer faults, and earn a 5 pt. qualifying round. Non-Jumping Classes Veteran Or Disabled Handler: Handlers who are 60 years or older, or who have a disability that restricts mobility, may choose to enter the non-jumping classes as a Veteran Handler and receive 10% more standard course time. This option is for Veteran/Disabled handlers in the non-jumping classes only. The Veteran/Disabled Handler division is designed for handlers who, due to age or impairment, are mobility limited and need extra time to guide their canine partners through an agility course. When entering as a Veteran/Disabled Handler, you must enter all dogs in all classes for the entire trial in this Division and must jump 4 lower than your Proficient, Standard Division jump height requires. In the non-jumping classes, dogs will be scored and placed with their Standard Division jump height. CONTAINERIZED TRIAL - FOOD/TOYS IN POCKET: Food or a small noiseless toy may be carried into the ring in your pocket provided it is contained in a ziplock bag or small container such as a pill bottle. The container cannot be visible in the ring nor within 10 feet of the ring. You cannot indicate to your dog that you have this item on you i.e. patting your pocket. You are not allowed to remove the container until you are at least 10 feet outside the ring. All food and toys must be contained at the trial and none can be left lying about loose. This policy has been implemented to reduce the possibility of dogs fighting over loose food or toys, diminish dogs dragging their handlers back to their crates (or wherever they left their food), and to lessen the amount of insects that are around loose food. The Extreme Games Challenge (EGC) is comprised of four classes: Extreme Barrel Racing, Extreme Gaters, Extreme Hoopers, and Extreme Chances. All four classes are ground speed classes which test the handlers ability to give directional commands to the dog while the dog is running at full speed and the dog s ability to respond to those commands. The dogs run at speed and the handler must time their commands so the dogs can stay on course. The Extreme Games are Extreme FUN for those who wish to rise to this challenge of teamwork and communication. The smoother and faster the teams can complete the course, the more points they can earn during the run. The classes are scored on a time plus faults basis. Extreme Barrel Racing is a numbered course comprised of barrels (soft barrels used in equine barrel racing practice). There will be a hoop for the start and the finish. The dog must circle the barrels as directed by the course numbers. Extreme Chances tests the dog and handler on a course that has distance tests comprised of tunnels, hoops, barrels and gates. Extreme Gaters tests the dog at high speeds while performing a course comprised of tunnels, gates, barrels and hoops. The dog must circle the gates or barrels as directed by the course numbers between the tunnel performances. Extreme Hoopers is a numbered course comprised of hoops and a gate circle. Part of the course is a large circle of gates and hoops in which the dog must race into and out of the circle as directed by the course design. The handler is restricted from running around the circle by restrictive wings, so the team is also being tested on distance skills.
