Additional fans will be placed to maintain optimal airflow in the crating area. If you wish to bring additional fans please plan on battery power. Practice area and rings feature Comfort King matting. The site is located in an industrial area. Outside areas are concrete or asphalt. If your dog has tender feet, boots to protect the feet from the hot summer surface may be warranted. Giving your dog a chance to get comfortable with boots prior to the show will make your first indoor show in Phoenix easier. There are two small areas to relieve your dogs; one is dirt and the other is on artificial turf. There is no place to throw a ball or other toy. You may wish to devise other games or tricks to warm up your dog prior to your runs. WARM UP AREA. A warm up area with a single practice jump will be provided outside on matting with canopies. If space permits a practice jump may be moved inside. 2

SPECIAL REQUEST To help protect the matting on the floor from the granite, grit and grime of Arizona we request that everyone clean and inspect the shoes they will be wearing and remove pebbles and pieces of granite since these may damage the flooring. It helps to wear another pair of shoes to the event and enter the building by walking on the all-wea weather mat to the kennel area. Once there you can sit down to change your shoes. IMPORTANT: : no dollies/carts inside the building. CRATING AREA: There will be adequate crating space for everyone as long as everyone plans ahead and doesn't use an excessive amount of space. Personal chairs will not be allowed in the crating area. Chairs are welcome in the spectator area. We have allowed for approximately 6 foot wide aisles in the crating area so dogs will not be in each other's faces when moving to and from the kennel area. Please keep an eye on your dog at all times. Please plan to stack crates if needed. Only soft sided kennels may be placed directly on the matting; all wire/metal kennels and X-Pens must be placed in the concrete section or on some type of rug, towel etc that will protect the mat from damage. Limited X-pens will be allowed but please only for 3 or more dogs. Some crating will be on the concrete, we cannot avoid it. Please plan to bring extra thick bedding in case your dog is crated in that area. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS Exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the trial committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. Top Notch Canines, LLC and Valle Del Sol Golden Retriever Club and its agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibilities for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s): d Exhibitors are prohibited from relieving their dog on the property of neighboring businesses. Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Trial Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. Cleaning supplies and disposal sites will be available at various locations around the show grounds. Canine Health: Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian s recommendations to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. Arizona law requires rabies vaccine every 3 years. All dogs must be on leash at all times when on trial grounds except when in the designated warm-up area or competing on the course. We are in an industrial area and large semi-trucks frequent the area. Please watch your dogs! The judging will start promptly. During the hours of judging owners are to be on call and have their dogs ready to bring into the judging ring promptly in order that the judging will not be delayed. Dogs need only be present for the judging of their class. Dogs not needed for further judging may be excused. Please see your emailed confirmation for judging start times. Do not leave dogs in closed vehicles!!! All persons attending this dog show hereby waive any claim for damages against Top Notch Canines LLC or anyone associated with Top Notch Canines LLC, in the event a motor vehicle must be entered to rescue a dog from overheating or suffocation due to improper ventilation. CONFIRMATIONS will be sent by email only! Please include an email address. Final confirmations will not go out until the show closes. PLEASE unblock my email, mliljedahl@cox.net from your SPAM folder. I will be sending updates and other information thru email. I will answer all emails after 6pm Monday Friday. I do not have access to email before that time. 3
