The registration fee is based on the number of pups being registered. BOTH PARENTS MUST BE PUREBRED PIT BULLS. If both parents are not already APBR registered it is highly advised to use the Family Registration option instead. It is required that at least one parent be APBR registered and highly advised for both as only having one parent APBR registered can significantly impact how well your dog s Family is tracked over time. Kennel Certification Agreement As a representative of the the American Pit Bull Registry I hereby certify to adhere to the following principals and will work to represent the American Pit Bull Terrier and the American Pit Bull Registry in a positive manner. I do not condone nor will I promote the fighting, abuse, or neglectful treatment of Pits in my possession or that I may sell to third parties. I will work to promote the positives of Pit Bull ownership and will educate both the general public and those seeking to purchase Pit Bulls from me on the truths and positive attributes of the Pit Bull breed. I will maintain my Kennel to an adequate level of cleanliness to promote good health in both my adult and puppy populations. I will provide a healthy, adequate, and properly balanced diet for all Pits in my care. I will make sure that all Pits within my care are supplied with fresh, clean, and adequate amounts of water on a daily basis. I will provide proper restraint to all Pits in my care and make sure that noncompatible dogs are kept separated. I will provide safe, reliable, weather resistant housing to all Pits in my care. I will make sure all pups that I maintain are adequately socialized. I will provide my breeding bitches with adequate recovery and healing time between litters and register no more than 3 litters per bitch over any two year period. I will make sure that any inbreeding that takes place is separated by a minimum of four generations. I will offer reasonable warrantees on all puppies sold and work with previous owners in the re-homing of their Pit if such conditions arise. I will maintain adequate breeding records for all puppies bred through my Kennel. I will insure that all my Pit Bulls have regular and proper health care provided to include proper cleansing and grooming, regular de-worming, and properly administered shots relevant to their age. I will make sure that all my Pits receive the proper health care treatment by licensed professionals whenever there are health issues beyond my control. I will place as a first priority the improvement of the breed in each litter I seek to produce. I will be honest in all advertising and direct dealings with potential purchasers of my Pit Bulls that I hold for sale or transfer. I will make sure that all future owners have a copy of all necessary paperwork to complete or initiate their registration through the APBR and have copies of this Kennel Registration Certification request and subsequent Kennel Recognition Certificate. I will report fighting, abuse, and neglect conducted by other APBR members to the American Pit Bull Registry. I will not support any Breed Specific Legislation. I will work with other owners who may need assistance in the maintenance or re-homing efforts of their Pit Bulls where such assistance does not place undue burden on myself. I will work to be a positive representative for the Pit Bull breed at all times.
