2 of 6 7/23/2016 2:29 PM Coco, Toro and Rowdy were brought to PrideRock earlier this year when a neighboring sanctuary ended up not being able to take them in. The bears are about 3 years old, and after Phase II is complete in a few months, will be able to roam outside. The outdoor enclosures will include large tunnels for resting, playing and hiding, pools for playing and bathing, and several large platforms for soaking in the sun and taking in a higher view. PrideRock owners Carol and Gary Holliman are dedicated to providing natural enclosures, species-specific diets and enrichment areas for all the animals in their care. Coco, Toro and Rowdy will no doubt enjoy their new outdoor facilities. See www.priderock.org for updates. Rotary Clubs hear about PrideRock PrideRock Media Relations Specialist Robyn Wheeler spoke to Rotary Club of Cedar Creek Lake and Duncanville about the big cats and other wildlife species residing at the facility. Robyn spoke about the sanctuary's mission and how animals end up at PrideRock. She also shared Leo's story about the male African lion needing surgery to repair a bad declawing performed by his previous owners. Both groups gave a cash donation to PrideRock Wildlife Refuge. Michigan Interns

Interns from the Alternative Bronco Breaks, located on the campus of Western Michigan University also volunteered from a week. PrideRock gave each volunteer valuable experience that will help them with their future dreams in helping animals and the environment. PrideRock depends on interns for the ongoing daily responsibilities of caring for all residents and is incredibly grateful for the efforts of interns who choose to pursue a degree in the related fields such as zoology, biology, animals science,
