This is a Trial and is open to all Breeds and Mixed Breeds of all sizes! Classes offered each day: Instinct Test, Novice, Open, Senior and Master Briefing will start at 8:30 each day, with first dog at 9AM with a short lunch break will be at the judges discretion. Judges: Margaret Worth, TX These trials take both PRE-ENTRY and Day of Show entries (if we do not fill) THIS IS A ONE JUDGE TRIAL, WE COULD FILL! Please watch the Facebook group Louisiana Barn Hunt Group for announcements. The trial OPENS Jan 1st, 2015. Limit of 120 runs per DAY. The lower level ring has a concrete floor and will have mats, the higher level rings have a packed dirt floor. If you wish to pay with a Credit Card there will be a convenience fee, Pre entries paid with CC will be processed by via PayPal invoice. Contact secretary for more info. Pre entries close Jan 24th 2015 NOTE: IF YOUR ENTRY ARRIVES AFTER THIS DATE YOU WILL pay Day of Show prices! Dogs may enter both the Instinct Test and Novice class in the same trial. All entries must be accompanied by entry fees to be valid. A returned check does not constitute a valid entry. There will be a $55 fee for all returned checks. No entries will be taken over the phone or electronically. Make check payable to CT Dog Services, Inc. Send entries & fees to the trial secretary. Dogs must have a Barn Hunt registration number to compete in trials.

DIRECTIONS TO TRIAL SITE East Bound I-20 take exit 93 to hwy 145, (watch speed limits) go 13 miles (will dead end into Hwy 15), turn right onto hwy 15. go 1 mile. Turn left onto Willow Creek Rd. DRIVE SLOW (15 to 20 miles per hour) till the road drives you into the farm. West Bound I-20 west, exit 108, turn Right onto hwy 546. 2nd red light, turn left onto hwy 15. Go 10 miles. Turn right onto Willow Creek Rd (at mile marked 162) DRIVE SLOW (15 to 20 miles per hour) till the road drives you into the farm. EXHIBITOR INFORMATION Day of Show entries if we don t fill, we will take Day of Show entries from 7:30 to 8AM All dogs must be on a short leash and under control while on trial grounds except while showing. FLEXI LEASHES ARE NOT PERMITTED INSIDE ANY BUILDINGS. Please pick up after your dog and dispose of waste in appropriate containers. Please bring weather appropriate gear. These trials will be held outdoors, rings are under cover. All crating is outdoors (you may bring tents. There is no access to power so bring battery operated fans/ heaters (or gas heaters) if you need them. Bitches in season are eligible for entry but will be required to be kept separate from all other dogs and will be run at the end of their class/trial. We will designate a BIS crating area. If bringing a bitch in season, please inform the trial secretary prior to the trial and inform all exhibitors at the judge s briefing. Remember you dog must wear panties at all times at the show site. (except when being taken out to potty.) We will direct you to your crating and potty area, please come to the secretary s table before unloading your dog. Thank you! Entry fees for bitches that come into season will be refunded until closing date of the trial if you wish to withdraw. After the trial closes, entry fees will not be refunded. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused, or barred from competition by action of the Event Committee. If a dog is injured or ill, you may be eligible for a partial refund, contact us for info. (A full refund will be giving if we are notified by the closing date.) RUNNING ORDER: Dogs will be run in height order with dogs being handled by the same person separated into different staged groups.

AWARDS: We will have placement ribbons in each class and height divisions. All qualifiers will be awarded a qualifying ribbon. We will have High In level awards for each trial. Special Awards: The Buddy Award for the oldest dog competing on Saturday. (In Honor of John Rainy s Golden, Buddy) The Marlee Award for the highest scoring Boxer in either Saturday trial. (in honor of Brenda Stuckey s Marlee) The Cupcake Award for the highest scoring All American in either Saturday trial. (in honor of Cupcake the awesome farm dog!) Rain s Remarkable Rescue Award for Rescue dog that tries the hardest. (In honor of Suzanne Laird s Heart Dog, Rain, who was lost to lymphoma in 2009.) The Breezy Award for the best qualifing time by a dog from the working group. (Created and Sponsored by Joan Rosemier.) The Bugsy Goof Ball Award all NQ s will be put in for a drawing. (Sponsored by Gina Smith s Bugsy) The Elvis Ain t Nothing but a Hound Dog Award - all Certified Therapy or READ Dogs will be put in a for a drawing. (Sponsored by Gina Smith s Elvis.) Additional Important Information Exhibitors are responsible for being ready to go to the staging area, in the staging area, and waiting for the call to the gate when it is their turn to run. The judge need not wait for any dog holding up a class. The club has no obligation or responsibility for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought to the ring when required. Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may have made such errors. (always check your confirmation!) Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. There is a $55 returned check fee. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up after their dog(s). Any exhibitor failing to do so may be excused without benefit of refund if the Event Committee deems the exhibitor to be in violation of this requirement. We are trying to arrange for concessions (it will be a limited, the Facebook group, Louisiana Barn Hunt Group, and confirmations will provide more details.) Wait List: We will maintain a waitlist. If an entry is withdrawn after the closing date and we have dogs on the waitlist who are able to take your spot, ONLY then will you receive a refund.

For those who do not know you can create your entry form in just a few clicks of the mouse! (No guessing if you filled it out right or hoping the Trial Secretary can read it!) The Barn Hunt website has an awesome feature it will create and fill out an entry form for you. We encourage you to make use of this feature. (no errors because of hard to read entry forms!) It isn t an online entry. It just creates your form and calculates your entry. You just print, sign and mail it! 1.) Go to barnhunt.com. 2.) Go to the manage your dog page, select the trial you wish to enter. I(f the trial isn t open yet it will tell you the date it opens, if it is open, there will be a link that says create entry. ) 3.) Click Create Entry 4.) Select your dog <if you have more than one registered with Barn hunt>, then select the classes and trials you wish to enter, 5.)print and mail. there you go! We strongly suggest you make use of this feature, it will make data entry much easier and insures your results are recorded more quickly with Barn Hunt Association!
