Judges Critique It was a pleasure to meet so many lovely Dalmatians, every exhibit was clean, movement was the best I've seen in a long time.a number of mouths did not have an overlapping bite, almost level, that needs watching. Almost every Dalmatian was shown strung up, please show your control by using a loose lead. PD (9 3a) 1 Kembrey's Dalmark The Show Stormer, 9 months, beautifully spotted black, good bone, reach of neck, well laid back shoulders, deep brisket, good cum of stifle, moved ft showed well. BP; 2 Reilly's Roadcoach Roadrunner, 6 months, b/s, bigger puppy, baby face, attractive make & shape, good turn of stifle moved and showed well. Two promising puppies, hope they both mature well;3 Graham Weall's Phidgity Panda Monium. JD (7,1) Two outstanding youngsters. 1 Richardson's Mapplewell It Takes Two, strong b/s, little bigger than I like but difficult to fault, flowing lines, well balanced, excellent spotting, moved well. RCC, closely followed by 2, Tingey's Kymvale Oberon, strongly made young liver dog, lovely head, excellent colour and spotting, well off for bone, deep brisket, well carried tail moved with a lone stride, handled well; 3 Cauldwell's Gwencarodale Pop's Pride. GD (5,2) 1 Brooks' Hispot Hispirits, beautifully spotted black, still a long way to mature, good shoulders, deep brisket, hope movement tightens: 2 Clarke's Kalokairie Lord Of Livers by Klarkeson. attractive liver dog, good eye colour, smaller spotting than 1.well arched feet, good turn of stifle, well carried tail. moved with drive; 3 G Pop's Pride. PGD (5.2) 1 Taylor's Sir Alphonso. good typical b/s dog, excellent conformation, completed by good spotting & a spotted tad; 2 Gardners Wrendragge Willyeckerslyk. big handsome boy, movement rather slack, appealing head, well presented, covered the ring easily; 3 Davis' Streamline Magic Secret. LD (19,5) the most difficult class of the day. 1 Heslop's Colonel Mustard, old favourite of mine, can be over-looked, elegant, kind face. good layback of shoulder & forechest, deep brisket, well sprung ribs, moved with a long stride; 2Wright's Ffliglina New Horizons at Millebelle, strong honest type of Dalmatian, full of himself, good eye colour, well spotted, plenty of bone. Carrying a little too much weight on the shoulders. Excels in movement. 3 Emmett's Ellemstra Decorated Hero. 0D (8,2) Lovely class with very little between placings. 1 Precious' Ch Lupiac The Thieving Magpie. picture of quality & soundness, headed a line-up of lovely dogs. excels in conformation, well spotted black but fewer than 2, kind face, good eye colour, in hard condition, moved really well with a long stride, delighted to add to his fist of CCs. CC;2Goff Leggetts' ChWashakie Chief As Great As, another beautiful ch dog, very cose up. pigmentation outstanding, very stylish.would prefer him carrying a little less weight to show off this excellent conformation; 3 McCarthy's Ch Tollwood Lionel at Kilndandy. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- PB (8.4) 1 Ward's Frankish Zenith, I & 2 similar puppies to assess, 10 months, deeply pigmented black, lovely conformation, starting to mature, mowed very well; 2 Pickup's Roadcoach Rose de' Noel. bigger b/s bitch, same good conformation & pigmentation, moved well. both are promising, hope they both mature well: 3 Pickups Roadcoach Romane. JB (13,3) 1 Neath-Duggan's Buffrey Maybee, b/s. lovely quality bitch, pretty face, good neck & shoulders, well sprung ribs. good turn of stifle, wagging tall. more spotted than 2, Beaumont's Little Miss Fuss Pot. beautifully spotted black, well off for bone, mature body for age, showed well 3 Dore's Dalkereve Dazzling Diamond. NB (4,2) Beestons' Plymcrest Private Dancer for Sanadal, unplaced from a strong junior, excellent conformation, rich coloured liver. difficult to fault, plenty of bone, long neck, wed laid back shoulders, moved well; 2 Gatheral Graham's Phaeland Passion Promise, another lovely coloured liver bitch, my notes say raw and Inexperienced, I hope the best is yet to come. GB (11.3) 1 Wilson's Chandhally Phoenix for Dalregis, Page 11/12
b/s, rose to take first in this good class, won on her type & conformation, her spotting is correct but means she can be overlooked. Preferred the shoulders of 1. few feet marks & shares this with 2, Lamb's Leaveslake Uly at Dalpetro. strong, well spotted liver, attractive head, plenty of bone. well turned stifles, plenty of drive; 3 Taylor's Dvojica In Vogue. PGB (10.2) In this class & limit any of the five would have won. 1 Cobb's Washakie Madam Platinum Paws at Kaloiolrie, this lovely b/s bitch is maturing & has all the attributes to do really well, moves well with a long stride, bigger than 2. Ward's Frankish Galaxy, this liver bitch is difficult to overtook. good head & eye colour, reach of neck leading to deep brisket, her sound movement completes the picture; 3 Cuthbertson's Ellemstra Made To Order for Kalsidoni. LB (15,2) 1 Richardson's Jomihvar In Vin Sybil, this excellent b/s bitch, has matured beautifully, dark eye, kind expression, excels in make & shape, moved well around the ring with a long stride. RCC, hope she soon gets her title; 2 Addy's Loxleyvale Khashmere at Creaganbrec. b/s, finer than 1, but so well put together, flowed around the ring, shown very well; 3 Fleming's Chandally Chantilly Lace. OB (7,3) 1 Pickup's Roadcoach Reve En Rose. this was her day. would not put a foot wrong, has matured into an outstanding b/s bitch, quality from nose to tail. her title cannot be far away, pulled out in the group. CC a BOB: 2 Dinsdale's Dalesbred Doodle Bug. another outstanding bitch in top form today, difficult to choose between her & 1, conformation correct & movement a joy to watch: 3 Goff-Leggett's Ch Washakie Indian Sunrise.
