Mrs. Valerie Clark s Award Winner!

Mykina Boone There are many reasons why Mykina Boone is our CATS Character award winner. First, she exhibits great respect and empathy for her teachers and peers. When others are sad or upset, she is always there to try to help. She is also willing to try hard things, and gives a great effort, no matter how difficult the task may be. In addition, I can count on her shows respect and kindness to everyone around her. She is honest and dependable. Overall, she has an amazing attitude and is a great example of CATS Character!

Mrs. Carol Butler s Award Winner!

Briley Tucker Briley is a positive role model each and every day for her classmates. Her sweet smile and work ethic are a bright spot in each of my days! I can count on a good morning hug and an afternoon hug every day from Briley. She has a positive attitude about learning new things and always gives a super effort on any given task, even if the task may be challenging. She is a great listener and loves to be challenged with new and exciting activities in class. Briley has a kind heart and her love for others is shown through her actions in the classroom daily! I am certainly proud to present her with the CATS character award for the third nine weeks.

Ms. Misty Hall s Award Winner!

Avery Kiper My student is Avery Kiper. Avery works hard in the room and follows the rules. She helps others in the room when needed and happily does what you ask of her. She is kind to her classmates and has a good sense of humor.

Mrs. Jill Chandler s Award Winner!

Audrina Satterly Audrina is very deserving of the CATS Character Award. She exhibits the Big 4 daily which is a very important part of being successful at BJES. She comes to school with a smile on her face, she follows school and classroom rules, she is an AWESOME student, and she believes in herself. Audrina always gives 110%, and; she never complains about what she is asked to do. She is friendly, respectful, caring, and trustworthy. Audrina will and does go out of her way to be helpful to everyone. Congratulations Audrina!

Mrs. Brittany Fowler s Award Winner!

Trevor Weedman The Cat's Character Award winner for Mrs. Fowler's class goes to a very deserving young man. This young man has been working very hard during this quarter. He has been striving to be the very best student he can be. He has been an excellent classmate to his peers. He has been very helpful to his teacher and to Mrs. Katey as well. I am very proud of the progress this young man has made this school year! I am proud to be his teacher, and I am excited to see what the future holds for him. Congratulations, Mr. Trevor Weedman!!

Mrs. Tia Smith s Award Winner!

Zona Stout Dennis Prager said, "Goodness is about character - integrity, honesty, kindness, generosity, moral courage, and the like. More than anything else, it is about how we treat other people." Zona Stout has all of those traits. She does the right thing even when no one is looking, she is honest and kind and giving, she stands up for what is right, and she treats others the way she would want to be treated. She exemplifies what we all expect out of a Ben Johnson student and is very deserving of the Cat's Character Award.

Mrs. Emily Priddy s Award Winner!

Rowan Radaszewski I would like to nominate this sweet young lady for the CATS Character Award. Rowan has taken on a leadership role in the classroom this year. She gladly takes on any responsibility that is asked of her. She looks for ways to help others around her. She has worked hard in STLP and in the classroom. I could not be more proud of her and her efforts. Rowan will do an excellent job on any task put before her because of her own high expectations. She is quite deserving of this honor!

Ms. Jaclyn Renfro s Award Winner!

Rocker Fraley The student that I would like to recognize for the Cat's Character Award is Rocker Fraley. Rocker exemplifies the big three every day! He comes to school with a wonderful attitude, perseveres through obstacles, and is a magnificent role model for others. I know I can always count on him to be responsible and respectful to others. I have also seen tremendous growth in him throughout this school year, and I couldn't be more proud. I believe in Rocker and I know he believes in himself!

Mrs. Kaitlin Riggs Award Winner!

Keilana Cargo Keilana Cargo is a great example of Cat's Character. Keilana is a hard working student. She always does her homework and goes out of her way to take notes or catch up on what she missed if she is sick or has an appointment. She is always reading and last nine weeks earned 125 AR points! She is kind to others and takes charge when needed. She works very hard on all of her assignments and takes her time when we have a test. There's never any question about her following school rules, and she can be trusted to do what is right, even when no one is watching. I've really enjoyed being her teacher this year!
