Registratins CFA registratins were up 20 % in 2015-16 ver the 2014-15 shw seasn, cntinuing a 4-year trend f increasing registratins. Extics were #1 in registratins. (Even if LH Extics separated ut). British SH and Ragdlls had the greatest increase in registratins. Breed registratins are influenced by gegraphy: 77% f Ragdll registratins are frm China. 75% f Extic registratins are frm the Internatinal Divisin. 58% f Persian registratins are frm Nrth America. 50% f Maine Cn registratins are frm Nrth America, 32% frm SE Asia. Husehld pet registratins are #10, Bengals #33.
Grands and DMs 1,464 Grand Champin, 710 Grand Premier and 171 Grand Husehld Pet titles were awarded in the 2015-16 shw seasn. 14.3% f GCs + GPs were ne-shw grands. 171 Husehld Pets granded in the first seasn they were available. Nrth America had the highest number f GCs, GPs and GHs. GCs decreased by 13%, while GPs increased by 8%. R4 increased GC+GP by 64.7%, with a surge in GCs. The ID had an increase in GCs f 173% and GPs by 79.6%

132 DMs in the 2015-16 Shw Seasn. 83% f DMs were female. Persians received 25% f DMs; American SHs, 9.1%; Extics and Maine Cns are tied at 7.6%. 57.6% f DM wners are frm Nrth America, with R7 leading. 63.6% f DM breeders are frm Nrth America, with R7 leading.
Catteries 413 new CFA catteries were registered in 2015-16. This was a decrease frm 2014-15, but an increase f 110% frm 2013-14. Nrth America (R1-R7) increased new catteries by 32.2% ver 2014-15 and 166.4% frm 2013-14 t 2014-2015. R7 had the greatest number f new catteries (89) in 2015-16 R2 had the largest % increase (62.5%) frm 2014-15 t 2015-16. The Internatinal Divisin and China exhibited a large grwth frm 2013-14 t 2014-15, but drpped substantially frm 2014-15 t 2015-16.
1,897 CFA catteries have been awarded the Cattery f Distinctin (CD) designatin. 40 catteries have received the CD in the 2015-16 shw seasn fr the first time. 61 catteries have upgraded their CD award in the 2015-16 shw seasn. SAN-TOI cattery has achieved the highest CFA CD award, Tier VIII. R7 has the greatest number f CDs Nrth America catteries have received 89% f the CD awards

Number f shws influence the year t year variance in cats present Nrth America (R1-R7) had 10 fewer shws in 2015-16 with Kittens -12.5%, Champinship -5.8%, Premiership -1.0%, Ttal KCP -6.8% and HHP +5.6%. Japan (R8) had 5 mre shws in 2015-16 with Kittens -4.9%, Champinship +19.2%, Premiership +49.3%, Ttal KCP +18.4% and HHP -28.6%. Eurpe (R9) had 5 fewer shws in 2015-16 with Kittens -26.5%, Champinship - 17.0%, Premiership -3.6%, Ttal KCP -18.3% and HHP -27.8%. China had 33 mre shws in 2015-16 with Kittens +147.4%, Champinship -177.2%, Premiership +208.1%, Ttal KCP +166.4% and HHP -5.9%. ID-Other had 4 mre shws in 2015-16 with Kittens +9.1%, Champinship +29.5%, Premiership +5.4%, Ttal KCP +18.7% and HHP +11.7%.
R1-R7 has shwn a decrease in Kittens, Champinship and Premiership cats present fr lnger than the last 10 years.
Cats Present per Shw prvides a different view f the shw seasn (charts n next page). R1-R7, while having a decrease in cats present, had a decline f kittens present/shw f -7.2%, Champinship cats present/shw had a slight decline f - 0.1%, and increase in Premiership cats present/shw f 5.0% with a decline f ttal cats present/shw f -1.1%. Eurpe (R9) had a decrease in KCP present per shw f -1.3%.
Judges The chart belw shws a matrix f judging assignments frm judges, residing in varius regins, vs. the regins f shws at which the judge fficiated. Japan had the mst judges, frm any regin, fficiating in the shw seasn with a ttal f 390 rings. 87 Nrth American judges fficiated at 1,660 rings (68% f ttal CFA rings). R7 was next with 19 reginal judges fficiating in 367 rings. Regin judges judge mst ften in their wn regins. 36 Guest judges fficiated at 105 ccasins at CFA shws. 58 times in the Internatinal Divisin. 43 times in Eurpe (R9). CFA judges fficiated n 35 ccasins at ther cat assciatin shws.
