Epidemiological and treatment study of air sacculitis in broiler H.M. M. AL_Naemey Coll. of Vet.Med./Univ.of Baghdad Abstract During the two years 003 and 00, 308 air sacculitis cases in broiler are diagnosed, 8 cases at 003 and 7 cases at 00.Monthly incidence of these cases through the year of study indicate that the highest number of cases at the 003 February 6 cases then at January 8 cases and the lowest number at April, May and June. During 00 the highest number were at the April 9 cases while the lowest at February, March and June. Study the incidence of the cases according to age indicate that the highest number of cases appeared at the fifth and sixth week of age while the lowest at the first week of age. From the 308 cases, the antibacterial sensitivity test of 9 of 308 cases were studied and the results indicate that cases are sensitive to furaltadon, then 3 cases are sensitive to colistin and the sensitivity varies to other antibacterial. Most of the cases are resistance to Flemquin but only 9 cases are sensitive to it. When divide the isolates according to their degree of sensitivity appeared that the enrofloxacin has the highest percent.7% while the flemquin has the lowest percent.%. 3
