Come join the fun! The trial will be held in Princess Louise Park Sussex, NB, outside on grass GENERAL INFORMATION *WARM UP AREA: a warm up area, as required by the AAC will be provided. *AAC TRIAL RULES: This sanctioned trial is being held under the rules of the AAC. All obstacles conform to AAC specifications. The trial is open to all dogs over 18 months of age. No bitches in season, dogs suffering from injuries, or dogs showing signs of aggressiveness will be permitted to run. In the spirit of sportsmanship and fairness to others, the disregard of AAC rules will be grounds for dismissal from the rest of the trial weekend and no entry fees will be refunded. As well a complete report will be forwarded to AAC for further disciplinary action. *AAC ID NUMBER: All dogs must be registered with AAC with a valid AAC number in order to compete in this trial. *JUNIOR HANDLING: A Junior Handler class will be offered at this trial. Junior handlers must apply to AAC for a number. Forms are available on the AAC website. *DEADLINE AND CHANGES: No entries will be accepted, changed, withdrawn after the closing date, with the exception of 1) Dogs may move up to the next class by informing the secretary prior to the trial. 2) Bitches in season or dogs who have been injured after the closing date may request a refund upon presentation of a veterinarian certificate. *RING READY: Exhibitors are responsible to check the running order posted by the ring and be on deck and ready to run. Failure to do so may cause you to lose your turn. *CONFIRMATION: Confirmation will be sent out by email after the closing date. *ACCOMMODATIONS: There will be dry camping available on site, with no electrical hookup. Please let us know if you plan to camp on site. There is plenty of room for shade tents and parking. Princess Louise Park show centre may have two and three way hook ups available. DIRECTIONS TO FIELD: Take Smiths Creek exit off of the Trans Canada Highway(#2), head towards Sussex, follow the road until you come to a hard right turn, follow the road to the right and you will be at the feild. AAC CLASS DESCRIPTIONS STARTERS: Open to dogs that have not earned a Starters title. ADVANCED: Open to dogs that have not earned an Advanced title. MASTERS: Open to dogs that have earned an Advanced title. In these classes there are 3 divisions in each class. STANDARD: Dogs will jump standard heights and course times as set by AAC.
VETERANS: for dogs 7 years of age or older, in the case of dogs currently competing in any Standard Agility Class. This class shall also be for dogs of 5 years of age or older who have been competing in Specials for a minimum of one calendar year. A dog may no longer compete in the Standard classes once entered in an official trial in any of the Veteran classes. Course times and jump heights will be per AAC rules. SPECIALS: Open to all dogs. Course times and jump heights will be as per AAC rules. A dog may no longer compete in the Standard classes once entered at an official trial in any of the Special classes at an official trial in any of the Special classes except that they may move to the Veteran classes. Please note: In order to offer all competitors a smooth running, relaxing trial, all entrants will be expected to volunteer. We ask everyone to indicate what job they would like to do. If not indicated, we will assign you a suitable spot. ** Notice to all Junior Handlers: To promote the sport of agility to all younger handlers, we are offering a reduced fee for all runs. For our Junior Handlers we are offering $10.00 per run.
