$$$ ENTRY FEES PER SHOW $$$ First Conformation Entry of Each Dog Per Show $27.00 Additional Conformation Entry of Same Dog Per Show $20.00 (Additional entry for these events is defined as Non-Regular Classes for Stud Dog and Brood Bitch and does not include sweepstakes) Bred By Exhibitor Classes $22.00 Puppy and Veteran Classes $22.00 Puppy & Veteran Sweepstakes (must also be entered in a regular class) $12.00 CLASSIFICATION -- Regular Classes The following classes will be provided for both Dogs and Bitches: Puppy: 6 Mos. & Under 9 Mos. Bred By Exhibitor Horse Coat Puppy: 9 Mos. & Under 12 Mos. American Bred 12 Mos. & Under 18 Mos. Open Brush Coat Novice Open Horse Coat Amateur Owner Handler Winners Bred By Exhibitor Brush Coat Best of Breed NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING SINGLE DOG ENTRIES Veteran Classes for Dogs and Bitches 7 years of age and older Winners from these classes are eligible, if undefeated in another class, for Best of Breed Competition. Note: Chapter 11, Section 8, of the Dog Show Rules provides that castrated males and spayed females may be entered in the Veteran Classes at specialty shows. Entry Fee: $22.00 NON-REGULAR CLASSES INVOLVING MULIPLE DOG ENTRIES STUD DOG CLASS is for Stud Dogs and at least two of their Get. It is not necessary that the Get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. The Stud Dog may be entered separately in one of the regular classes, or, if a Champion of Record, in Best of Breed Competition, but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog Class. The Get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the Get. The class will be judged on the merits of the Get. While the merits of the Stud Dog are not to be considered in the placement of the entry, the Stud Dog must be examined to determine if it has a condition that would require its disqualification or excusal under the AKC Dog Show Rules, AKC Policy, or the standard of the breed. Entry Fee: $20.00 BROOD BITCH CLASS is the same as for the Stud Dog class except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for Get. Note: Chapter 11, Section 8 of the Dog Show Rules provides that castrated males may be entered as the Stud Dog and spayed females may be entered as the Brood Bitch. As the judge s decision in the Non-Regular Classes involving Multiple Dog Entries is based on the merits of more than one dog or bitch, no one of the dogs or bitches making up the entry judged first in these classes will be eligible to compete for Best of Breed by virtue of having won these classes. 4

AKC NATIONAL OWNER-HANDLED SERIES -- NOHS All dogs that are owner-handled and are not solely owned or exhibited by professional handlers* meet the requirements for this competition. Exhibitors must declare their dog is Owner-Handled eligible at the time of entry using the check box on entry form. Eligible dogs will be identified by an asterisk in the steward s book and the catalog. The ring steward will ask all professional handlers, household members, current assistants to professional handlers, and non-eligible exhibitors to leave the ring and the judge will then select the Best Owner-Handled. *Professional handlers are defined as any person who belongs or has belonged to a professional handler s organization, distributed rate cards, or otherwise advertised or represented themselves as handling dogs for pay or received payment for handling a dog within the last five years. Trophies and prizes will be awarded in the judging ring after the completion of each class. All trophies must be claimed the day of the show. None will be mailed. 6. Exhibitors are advised to familiarize themselves with the agreement of the American Kennel Club, referred to on the reverse side of the entry forms that accompany the premium list. There is no refund of entry fees for duplicate entry. 10. There is no provision for un-entered dogs at this show. 11. Declination of Entries. Golden State Chinese Shar-Pei Club may decline any entries for cause and may refuse to receive or may remove any dog on account of disease, viciousness, or other causes, and no one shall have any claim or recourse against the Club or any official thereof. 12. If, because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the management, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entry will be made. 13. Do not leave any dogs in closed vehicles. 14. The American Kennel Club will collect a $3.00 Event Service Fee for the first entry of a dog and a $3.00 service fee for each additional entry of the same dog in the regular and non-regular recordable single entry classes, in all AKC licensed and member club events.
