Description Welcome to the original Cedar Key Tranquility the best view in Cedar Key, Florida (our guests tell us so)! Walk to the marina, park, beach, and most restaurants. We are truly located in Cedar Key Florida. (Off season rates are $150 and $160/night) Our 3rd floor walkup, corner condo has a VERY private balcony with fabulous view, real cooking kitchen, king and queen bedrooms, and two full baths set in a small, quiet, condo complex on a peninsula. Furnishings were chosen to impart a feeling of tranquility to complement the breathtaking views of Florida's Nature Coast. Tranquility is equipped for your comfort and convenience. We want you to relax and experience Cedar Key. We have free (& private!) high speed DSL/WiFi, streaming movies, free long distance (US & Canada) all on the Gulf of Mexico. Experience "Florida without the Mouse"!(sm) Our north/northeastfacing balcony offers a stunning view of small mangrove islands, Wacassassa Bay and the Gulf. Enjoy sunrises year 'round and incredible summer sunsets. Breakfast on the balcony offers amazing views of birds, fishing boats, kayaks, and the everchanging sky and sea. We have a small sandy beach at our fishing dock perfect to launch your kayak, play in the sand or catch some rays! Our Cedar Key condo complex (Old Fenimore Mill) is resortlike. There are only 6 units per building (total of 10 buildings) and we're on the top floor so it's relatively quiet you won't have dozens of people tromping past your door or kids bouncing over your head. No street noise either. Our private fishing dock has a freshwater fish cleaning station. The fishing captains will pick you up at the dock! (And we're happy to recommend our favorite fishing captains!) Our heated swimming pool and jacuzzi are terrific for relaxing. Boat trailer parking is available on a 'first come first serve' basis. The town beach and park are less than a 1 block walk with playground equipment, picnic tables, cabanas and plenty or shade or sun your choice to relax or be active! Park your car in our covered parking and
walk to dining, drinking, shops, and the marina. Tranquility is close enough to walk to town, but far enough away so you're not listening to the bar bands under your bed... :::::::::::::::::::::::::Rates::::::::::::::::::::::::: Cedar Key, FL Lodging Rates (Same in both condos) $920/week Low season and nonholiday $160/weekend night $150/weeknight (A minimum stay of 2 nights is normally required in low season and nonholidays/festivals) $1,020/week or $170/night in High Season/Winter (Jan. 15 April 30) $170/night holidays and festivals (4 night minimum stay if booked less than 2 weeks in advance) Minimum Stays, House Rules *Most holidays and festival weekends require a minimum of 4 nights and will not be reserved more than 2 weeks in advance unless you reserve at least a four night stay. Please inquire to verify required number of days. Holidays and festivals book up quickly. The minimum booking is a requirement. Busy times include the usual national holidays, Cedar Key Arts Festival inspring, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Pirate Festival, and the Seafood Festival in October. Pet friendly Lodging: We sometimes allow wellbehaved dogs contact us and let us know what type of pet you have. We almost always require you to bring a crate for your dog. All dogs are required to be on flea and tick meds and dogs are not permitted on furniture. There is a $30 pet fee per visit NOT per night! We are a very economical vacation rental lodging choice for pet owners! There is a designated pet walking area on site and pickup poop bags (which you MUST use). Please know that we never approve cats as the owner is very allergic! Rates do not include Florida tax currently 9%. (We can t avoid charging tax sorry!) No additional cleaning fees are charged. There is no elevator.) Additional Info We are on an island. Life is slower here. It's a very small community. People are friendly. Everyone knows everyone and we love visitors. Walking is the usual way to get places, next most popular is golf carts. Parking is limited. We have no chain stores and no drug store. It's a 30 minute ride to the nearest Walmart/big grocery/pharmacy. Plan accordingly to make your vacation the best ever!
