Judging must take place before Best of Breed competition. The winner of Best Veteran, if otherwise undefeated, is eligible to compete for Best of Breed. A champion may be entered both in a single dog entry Non-Regular class and Best of Breed. If the dog is defeated in the Non- Regular class, it may not compete for Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex to Best of Breed. Stud Dog Class - For Stud Dogs & two but not more than six of their get. It is not necessary that the get be under the same ownership as that of the Stud Dog. Stud Dogs may be entered separately in one of the regular classes, or if a Champion of Record in the Best of Breed Competition, but MUST be entered in the Stud Dog Class. The get MUST be entered in one of the regular classes. The Stud Dog shall be considered one entry and requires one entry fee, this being the regular fee plus the additional class fee if the Stud Dog is entered in another class. The Stud Dog must be shown in the ring with the get. The class will be judged on the merits of the get. Brood Bitch Class - Same as for the Stud Dog Class except substitute Brood Bitch for Stud Dog and Produce for get. POINTS FOR RESERVE (National Only) The dogs designated Reserve Winners Dog and Reserve Winners Bitch will be awarded a three-point major, provided that the number of dogs actually competing in the regular classes of the Reserve Winner s sex total at least twice the number required for a five point major in the region in which the event is held. AWARD OF MERIT At the discretion of the judge, one (1) Award of Merit for each seven (7) Pekingese in actual competition in the Best of Breed competition may be awarded. The Judge may present an Award of Merit to any dog/bitch that competes for Best of Breed. SWEEPSTAKES The Sweepstakes is open to all non-champion Pekingese who are 6 months and under 18 months of age on the day of the show. All dogs entered in Sweepstakes must also be entered in a Regular Class. Sweepstakes will be judged prior to the Regular Classes. Indicate Sweepstakes, sex and age division on the regular entry form under Additional Classes. Credit charges will be from the "Poodle Corral". Telephone, telegraph and unsigned entries CANNOT be accepted. Entry fee shall not be refunded in the event a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, or barred. Canadian exhibitors must make fees payable in US funds. Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and photocopies of the entry without the Agreement and Rules from the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE. Errors on Entry Blanks: Owners are responsible for errors in making out entry forms, whoever may make such errors, and no entry fee will be refunded in event of such errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date. A $3.00 AKC Event Service Fee and a recording fee of 50 cents will be required for each dog entered at any licensed or Member Club, Show, Obedience Trial, or Tracking Test. This fee is to be collected by the Show-giving Club and paid to AKC. If a dog is entered in more than one class in the show, the fee is collected on the first entry only. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 14, Section 2) Show-giving Club, Show Secretary, their agents, employees, etc. assume no responsibility for any loss, damage, or injury sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or any of their dogs, or property, and further assume no responsibility for injury to children under the control of parents or guardians. All dogs must be held on leash except when in the exercise area or crated. Grooming is indoors. Exhibitors are responsible for clean conditions in and around their crates and grooming areas. Dogs must be present at least 15 minutes prior to judging. Owner or handler is solely responsible for having dog at ringside when it is time for its class to be judged. Dogs may be excused immediately after judging unless needed for further judging. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Veteran Class for Dogs and Bitches at least 7 years of age. No entry shall be made or accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. Judging schedule and map to the show site will be mailed as soon as possible after the closing of entries. Cash Prizes will be paid in the ring to the person showing the dog. Claims for prize money must be made in the ring before judging is over, and the Show Secretary is advised at once. The Show Secretary and the Show-giving Club disclaim any liability for cash prizes after the judging is completed. All Trophies must be claimed at the show. If not, they revert back to the property of the Showgiving Club. NO Trophies will be mailed. The Show-Giving Club, the Show Secretary, the facilities owner, their agents, employees, etc. assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury sustained by spectators, exhibitors, handlers, their employees or children, etc. or to any of their dogs or property. Entrants and spectators to this show do so entirely at their own risk. CHILDREN are expected to be under control of their parents or guardian. All videotaping, photography or reproduction of any means during the show requires Club permission. Please remember to turn all cell phones and/or pagers to their silent operation before entering the show area. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. At Judge's discretion, Judge may table 2 dogs on each adjacent table; so that more than 2 dogs can be tabled at the same time. NATIONAL ONLY Judge may table all dogs in a class on tables at one time All persons attending these dog shows hereby waive any claim for damages against the Pekingese Club of America, Citrus Capital Pekingese Club of Central Florida or its members, in the event a motor vehicle must be entered to rescue a dog from overheating or suffocation due to improper ventilation. 5

Spectators AKC Dog Show Education Tours and New Exhibitor Information Session and Tour Thursday & Friday On arrival at the show come to the Secretary's table at ringside and an experienced exhibitor and/or club member will take you on a tour. DIRECTIONS: From the North: (I-75) Take FL Turnpike S, merge onto FL 429 Exit 267A toward Tampa then 16.13 miles. Take Exit 6 US 192 toward Kissimmee, turn left onto US 192 E/County Hwy 545W, 2.02 miles. Turn Left onto Maingate Dr then 0.32 miles. Hotel is on the right. From the South: Take I-4 West to exit 64 (a west exit). Go west on US Highway 192, and after two miles, make a right onto Maingate Lane. The hotel is one quarter of a mile down on your right. From the East (I-95): Travel on Beeline Expressway 528 West to I-4 West at exit 64. Go west on US Highway 192 for approximately two miles, and then make a right onto Maingate Lane. The hotel is one quarter of a mile down on your right. From the Airport: Exit the Orlando Airport onto Beeline Expressway SR 528 West to I-4. Take I-4 West to US Highway 192 West / Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, exit 64. Continue west on US Highway 192, and two miles down, make a right onto Maingate Lane. The hotel is one quarter of a mile down on your right. PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOG AT THE SHOW SITE - THERE IS A DESIGNATED DOG WALK- ING AREA TO THE SOUTH OF THE BUILDING Hotel Transportation to and From the Airport: The Hotel suggests Mears Transportation from Orlando International Airport to the Hotel. Riding with pets: In accordance with local and federal laws in your area, service animals are permitted to accompany riders at all times. If you're planning to ride with a non-service pet, it's good practice to contact the driver who accepts your ride request. Use your app to send a text message or call to let the driver know you'd like to bring a pet. Please help drivers keep vehicles clean for all riders by bringing a crate or blanket to reduce the risk of damage or mess. Some drivers may keep a blanket in the trunk. Request when you re ready to walk outside. Once you ve gathered your baggage, choose a ride option that suits your group size, pricing and luggage storage needs. Exit on the right level. If you selected uberx or uberxl as your vehicle option, exit via Arrivals on Level 2 and wait for your driver curbside. If you selected UberSELECT, head to Level 1 and walk to the Express Pickup Tunnel located directly next to the rental car counters. Confirm your driver. Always check that your driver s license plate matches what you see in the app. If you can't find your driver, contact him or her through the app. 6
