Entries not on Official AKC Entry Forms and photocopies of Entry Forms without Agreement and Rules on the reverse side of the Official AKC Entry Form are NOT ACCEPTABLE. An AKC Recording Fee of $.50 per first entry and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee of $3.00 will be required for each entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. All Recording and Event Service Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. (There is no Recording Fee or Event Service Fee for Junior Showmanship, Sweepstakes, Futurities, Brace/Team, Multi-Dog Classes or Special Attractions.) No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any conditions as to its acceptance. Postdated checks and returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event of errors or cancellation of entries after the published closing date, nor in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of the Trial Committee. If, because of riots, civil disturbances, fire, act of God, act of a public enemy, strikes, extreme weather conditions (including, but not limited to, extreme heat, snow-storms or hurricanes) or any other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the Trial, no refund of entry fee will be made. No refund will be made for bitches in season. Acknowledgement of entries will be made as soon as possible after the closing date. Should such acknowledgement not be received by an exhibitor within 7 days prior to the Trial, please notify the Trial Secretary. Non-Regular Classes: Veterans Class. The Veterans class shall be for dogs that have an obedience title and are seven or more years old on the date of the trial. The exercises shall be performed and judged as in the Novice class Classes except that there will be no group exercises. Entries will be arranged according to jump height order in all classes in which jumps are used. Order within classes will be ascending from lowest to highest jump heights. Additional Trial Rules 1. The Club and Management will attempt to exercise every precaution for the safety of all dogs and people. However, neither the Club nor the Management will be responsible for injury or loss. 2. The Club assumes no responsibility for a wrong entry. Please PRINT or TYPE all information on entry form. 3. All exhibitors who qualify to compete for Special Awards must fill out and return awards form or register with the Trial Secretary on the day of the Trial PRIOR to the start of that particular class. The Club assumes no responsibility for omission. 4. In case of a tie for any prize, any dog not present for a runoff forfeits the right to the prize. 5. No awards will be mailed or delivered. An exhibitor whose dog is eligible for an award must be present or appoint a representative to accept the award for him/her on the day the award is earned. 6. One complimentary catalog will be provided to each person entered. 7. Catalogs sell for $3.00. Pre-paid, marked catalogs will be mailed for $10.00. Please send requests and checks to the Trial Secretary by close of entries. 8. There is no admission charge to spectators. 9. This is a SELF CLEANING show. Please clean up after your dogs. 10. Early arrivals should respect sleeping residents by monitoring noise levels, keeping dogs under control, and quieting excessive barking. 11. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the grounds. 12. A MOVE UP to the next level class is permitted in accordance with AKC regulations. The request for a Move-Up must be made in writing and presented to the Trial Secretary at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the trial. Move-Up forms for Obedience and Rally will be available at the Secretary's table.
