Acknowledgement of entries will be made via email as soon as practicable. Please include legible e-mail address on your entry form. Do not send entries requiring a signature upon delivery. Returned checks do not constitute a valid entry fee. The Show Secretary will add a $30 collection fee to the amount of each returned check. Awards will be offered as specified in Chapter 1, Section 2 of the Obedience Regulations. Dog refers to either sex. All class prizes will be awarded in the ring when judging of that class is over. Special prizes will be awarded at the end of regular classes. None will be mailed. Qualifying scores required for all prizes. *If not won on Saturday, this special prize will be offered on Sunday. Entry fees will not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, or excused by the Judge or Veterinarian, or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee. No refunds for bitches in season. If because of riots, civil disturbances, or other acts beyond the control of the show giving club, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refunds will be made. An AKC Recording Fee of $.50 first entry only and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 per entry will be required for each dog entered at any Licensed or Member Club Show, Obedience Trial or Tracking Test. An AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 will be required for each first entry, $3.00 for each additional entry in any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. All Recording and Event Service Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. There is no Recording Fee or Event Service Fee for Junior Showmanship, Sweepstakes, Futurities, Brace/Team, Multi-Dog Classes or Special Attractions. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS We will accept entries for Shetland Sheepdogs first, then accept entries from all other breeds until the entry limit specified is reached (in the order they are received). Exhibitors entering a breed other than a Shetland Sheepdog will be notified as soon as possible after the closing date regarding the status of their entry. This trial is not open to Canine Partners/All-American Dogs. All judging will be indoors. This is a one-ring trial. Crating space is limited. Unentered dogs may be asked to leave. No dogs under 6 months of age on show grounds. Food is not available at show site, but fast food is available within 2 miles. Dogs will be arranged in jump height order Small to Tall for both obedience and rally. Please include your jump height on your entry form. There will be no smoking in the building. Please dispose of trash in the proper manner. Training mirrors will be covered during the trial. Additional parking: A map with available parking areas will be included with the judging schedule. Free admission/free parking. The judge is not required to wait for dogs. It is the responsibility of the owner or handler to have the dog at ringside when required and without being called. All dogs present must be on leash or confined to their crates except when being judged. Catalogs will be available pre-paid only. Add $8.00 to your check at the time of entry. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.
