Please make this show a success and future shows a possibility. Control Your Cavaliers! Due to the blatant disregard by some CKCSC/CNE members for the Danbury Crowne Plaza and its non-doggie guests, we now must have a monitor in the hotel lobby 24/7, checking that dogs do not eliminate in this area. As you walk through the lobby with your dogs, you WILL be watched. There are clean up baskets in the lobby. If you have puppies or veterans, PICK THEM UP and carry them outside and do not let males eliminate right outside the lobby door. Thank you. Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held Saturday evening, June 9, 2012, immediately after judging ends approximately 4-5pm. CNE Members who attend the AGM until the end, you will receive a free glass of wine or soft drink! Trophies Please remember that this is a CNE trophy show so all CNE June trophies must be returned in time to be handed out to the winners. If you are coming to the show please bring your trophies with you, engraved, cleaned and polished. If you are not coming then please send them, along with a detailed packing slip describing the contents of each box, to Joan Twigg. c/o Jaime Redniss, 78 Old North Stamford Rd, Stamford, CT 06905. Questions? Call Joan at (410) 288-6896 or email: otwigg@bluecrab.org Note that there is a $250 penalty if any trophy is not returned on time. 6 NOTE: If you book your hotel reservation via an on-line hotel reservation service, please let Joan Parker, Show Secretary, know as CNE needs to get credit for your room nights. Your room rates will not be changed from whatever rate your find on-line. Special Considerations: A $75.00 damage deposit will be required upon check in, of which $50 will be refunded. $25 will be retained to cover cleaning both the ballroom and rooms. Prior to departure, an inspection of the room will occur and assessed for damages. The remaining $50, if necessary, will be used to offset any additional charges for damages or necessary cleaning charges to the guest room. NOTE: Due to the blatant disregard by some CKCSC/CNE members for the Danbury Plaza hotel and its non-doggie guests, we now must have a monitor in the hotel lobby 24/7, checking that dogs do not eliminate in this area. As you walk through the lobby with your dogs, you WILL be watched. PLEASE if your dog has an accident, clean it up immediately. There are clean up baskets in the lobby. If you have puppies or veterans, PICK THEM UP and carry them outside. Do not stand and converse with friends on your way out. And PLEASE, do not allow your dogs, especially the boys, to eliminate right by the outside entrance to the lobby door. Move them away to the trees and grass quickly. Over the weekend that area begins to smell. We MUST be more considerate of other hotel guests if we want to continue using these lovely hotels. Thank you.
