I m a gorgeous gray boy looking for love. I got the name Curly Amos because of how the end of my tail curls. When examined, they think it possibly happened when I was born. What Makes Our Dogs Special Monty s Home dogs are pulled from a local shelter after a battery of temperament testing. They spend the next 8 weeks in the Pawsitive Partners Prison Program, living in the prison and trained by our inmate trainers under the supervision of our volunteers. On graduation, these dogs have been crate trained, taught to walk on a leash, along with a variety of basic commands. In addition, our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all shots and heartworm prevention. Our adoption fee includes their crate, all equipment and food, along with an informational and training DVD, along with the invaluable support system of Monty s Home. The veterinarians say I must have surgery to repair my leg otherwise it will need to be amputated. I really want to keep my leg. I do well with kids, too, but I think my foster parents would prefer that I live with a forever family who has kids over the age of 6. Sometimes I am silly and forget where I put my feet. Because of that, my foster mom calls me a bull in a china shop. Due to my special needs, I need to be adopted by a family with a fenced in back yard. I need a lot of attention and have some anxiety when left alone. I have also never been crated.
