If you get to a stop light you have gone too far AMCW, Inc. CLUB WEIGHT PULLING POLICIES 1. Dogs must be a minimum of 1 year of age to enter the weight pull. No dog age 10 or older may enter the pull except to participate in novice class. (a) Dogs turning 10 during the season will be allowed to finish out the season
2. No Dog weighing less than 30 pounds will be allowed to enter the weight pull. 3. No late entries in the regular classes will be considered for any reason. However, you may enter any dog over the age of 1 and over 30 pounds in Novice Class up until the start of the weight pull. 4. Your dog must complete the first pull of his first round to receive any prizes if offered. 5. Your dog must complete the first pull of his first round for the automatic 5 qualifying points they will also receive 1 point for each dog that they beat. (year end awards) 6. A dog must be entered and place in a minimum of 3 weight pulls to be eligible for the end of the year award. 7. Classes D & C will be combined for prizes only unless there are at least 3 dogs in each class. The same applies to classes A & Open. This does not apply to the end of the season standings/awards. 8. You may pass your dog up until the start of its class. Once you have notified the score keepers that you are passing your dog, you will NOT be allowed to withdraw the pass. 9. All dogs NOT actively pulling must be in a crate or must be attended by a responsible handler. 10. Only the weight provided by AMCW will be used at the weight pulls. 11. The AMCW club videographer/photographer are exempt from the AMCA rule regarding persons capable of baiting 12. If a dog entered in a regular class fails to complete a pull in any round up to the conclusion of the novice class, the dog may participate in the novice class. (1) The dog will be allowed to compete in the novice class, even if the handler elects to pass during any round in the regular competition. (2) If there are time constraints regarding the weight pull, it will be up to the event judges if the dog will be allowed to pull in the novice class. Additional information Entry Fees: $5.00 novice class (per dog) $10.00 competition class (per dog) Weigh in 9:30 am 10:30 am Competition begins at 11:00 am with the exception of Cedarburg. Cedarburg weigh in 8:30 am 9:30 am, competition begins at 10:00 am
