The following breeds will start in Open: Holland Lops, Satin, Flemish Giant, Rhinelander, Crème D Argent, American Fuzzy Lop and Californian. Following breeds for Open will be: Mini Satin, New Zealand, English Lop, Checkered Giant, Dwarf Hotot, Lionhead and Cavies. Youth starting breeds will be determined the day of the show based on the status of the Youth Contests. This will allow for our youth members to focus on the contests and still be able to show their own animals at State Convention. Youth rabbits will be judged starting at 10:00 a.m. Show Room will be open Friday until 5:00 p.m. 10:00 p.m. The show room will reopen on Saturday at 6:30 a.m. and close a half hour after the selection of Best In Show or at 6:00pm, whichever is later. The show room will reopen Sunday morning at 6:30 am. Awards The Best in Show Trophy will be sponsored by Steinberg Awards. Trophies will be awarded for Best 4 Class, Best 6 Class, Best Overall in Show (Open & Youth). All Best of Breeds and Best Opposite of Breeds, Open & Youth, Rabbit & Cavy, with ten or more show in the breed, will receive a rosette. All rabbit breeds, Open & Youth, with ten or more shown, will receive $5.00 for Best Display. The Best Display Cavy, Open & Youth, will receive $5.00. Don t Forget the WSRBA Raffle!!!! Be sure to buy your raffle tickets for one of the many prizes offered. Raffle tickets will cost $0.50 each or 3 for $1.00. Two raffles will be held one on Saturday and one on Sunday. Each day the WSRBA will award two prizes the individual who donates the item receiving the most tickets will get a cash prize of $25.00 and the WSRBA Chartered Club which donates the item receiving the most tickets will get a $25.00 Advertisement Package with the WSRBA, including your show sanction, full page ad in the Bulletin and your entire show flyer to be published online. Show Rules: 1. This show will be governed by the latest revised rules of the ARBA, and the completion of the entry blank indicates your acceptance of these rules and those rules listed in the catalog. 2. The WSRBA will not be responsible in case of fires, accident or providential destruction. Every precaution will be taken to prevent the same. 3. All pre-entries must be postmarked no later than August 30, 2016. 4. All entries should be on official blanks printed in this catalog; however, entries will be accepted on other forms like the one published on the WSRBA Website. No e-mailed entries will be accepted. 5. Each entry must include a completely filled in remark card. Exhibitors who do not include their remark cards will be charged the day-of-show entry fee. Remark cards and the additional entry fee need to be turned in by the start of the show. If not received, the entry will be disqualified and any entry fee paid will be nonrefundable. 6. A check or money order must accompany your entry. Entries will not be valid without the proper payment. 7. Please make all checks and money orders payable to the: Wisconsin State Rabbit Breeders Association. 8. Mail all entries to: Melody Stremkowski 5568 County Rd EE Amherst, WI 54406 9. Open & youth pre-entry fees for the convention show are: single rabbit or cavy & meat pen - $4.00; fur class - $2.00. Sunday all-breed entry fees differ from convention show fees. See attached flyer for Sunday show entry fee information 10. Open & youth show-day entry fees for the convention show are: single rabbit or cavy & meat pen - $8.00; fur class - $4.00. All starting breeds close at 8:00 a.m. the day of the show, with all other breeds closing at 10:00 a.m. the day of the show. 11. All rabbits must be permanently and legibly marked in the left ear. 12. All fur entries must be entered and in the paid regular class. 13. Banquet tickets must be ordered and PAID for at the time of entry. 14. Substitutions for the state convention show will be allowed for a FEE of $1.00 per rabbit, no fee on fur substitutions. All substitutions for starting breeds must be in by 8:00 a.m. the day of the show, with all other breeds closing by 10:00 a.m. the day of the show. New remark cards need to be made out for substitutions!! Substitutions must be made within the same class you pre-entered. Any other change will be considered a day-of-show entry. Ear numbers cannot be changed on the remark cards at the table without first reviewing the original entry sheet and/or substitution sheet. 15. Only authorized persons will be allowed behind the judges tables. 16. We reserve the right to substitute judges or to add judges if the need arises. Every effort will be taken to follow the printed show schedule. 17. Ribbons will be awarded to third place. Ribbons and trophies will not be mailed. Please pick yours up before leaving the show. Cash specials will be mailed. 18. Breed Chairpersons are responsible for obtaining writers for both Open and Youth. 19. Judging will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. with the opening breeds listed on the second page of the show catalog. Refer to the second page of this catalog for special provisions regarding the youth show order and starting times. Youth judging will begin at 10:00 a.m. 20. All four and six class breeds and cavies will be judged on Saturday, and with a single, all-breed show on Sunday. SEE ATTACHED FLYER FOR DETAILS OF THE SUNDAY ALL-BREED SHOW. 21. Double WSRBA sweepstakes points will be awarded for the convention (Saturday) show only. Single WSRBA sweepstake points will be awarded for Sunday s show. 22. Fifty cents ($0.50) of each open and youth entry will be used for next years specials on each breed. 23. From each entry: ten cents ($0.10) will go to the WSRBA sweepstakes fund, two cents ($0.02) will go to the Sweepstakes Chairman, and three cents ($0.03) will go to the Bulletin. 24. Youth Members must carry youth rabbits to the show table, with the exception of youth contest participants while contests are still running.
