This includes (7) daily admissions, society membership & voting privileges in the annual director's election. The exhibitor must be a resident of Clark County & over 18 years of age. SPECIFIC RULES: $30.00 Exhibitor / Privilege Under 18 years of age, non-county resident or individual. The exhibitor may make unlimited entries unless limited by a department rule. This includes (7) daily admissions. $5.00 Exhibitor Entry The exhibitor may make unlimited entries unless limited by a department rule. $5.00 Exhibitor Entry does not include admittance to the fair. 1 ARBA sanctioned show to be held @ the 2019 Clark County Fair in the Entertainment Tent on Sunday, July 21st. 2 This show will be governed by the latest rules of ARBA and will be an official sanctioned show. 3 This is a single, carry-in rabbit show, sanctioned OPEN only. 4 Entry fees: $2.00 per rabbit; $2.00 per meat pen; $2.00 per single fryer; $1.00 fur entry per rabbit 5 Entries to be paid to fair office by 6//30/19 or the day of the show by 8:30 am. At fair, entries paid at the check-in table in the Entertainment tent. 6 Gate admission of $6.00 will be charged to enter the fair. 7 Payment for entries to be made by cash or check. Checks made payable to the Clark County Fair. 8 All exhibitors are required to complete their own control sheet & comment cards for the show. Forms turned in by 8:30 am in the Entertainment tent. Forms will be available in the rabbit barn & the day of the show. No entries will be accepted in the rabbit barn. 9 Rabbits must be permanently tattooed in their left ear before arrival to the show. There WILL NOT BE A REGISTRAR available to tattoo at the show. 10 Exhibitors will be asked to remove unhealthy animals from the Entertainment tent. 11 Judging will start at 9:00 am, Sunday - July 21st. 12 Exhibitors are responsible for showing their own rabbits. If not available, arrangements must be made to get rabbits to the show table. 13 Exhibitors will be called 2 times to the show table. After 2 times, the show will progress and the rabbit will be scratched. 14 Absolutely no breeding of rabbits at the show. 15 No CULL BUYER will be available at this fair show. 16 The Clark County Agricultural Society will no be responsible for loss or damage to stock during this show or while on the fairgrounds. Cooping between 4:00 to 8:00 pm. Coops will be numbered. For emergency purposes, a coop card must be completed & returned to the control desk by 8:00 pm, Fri 7/19. The coop # must be written in the rabbit's right ear with a black sharpie marker. If a rabbit gets out of its cage, it can be identified. Coop cards & markers will be available at the check-in table. 20" x 20" risers are highly suggested to be used in all cages. Risers will not be for sale at the fair. PINE SHAVINGS ONLY to be used in the coops. All exhibitors must furnish their own supplies for their rabbits; feed, crocks, water bottles, bedding, etc. The rabbit barn doors will be opened every morning at 7:00 am and closed every night at 10:00 pm. All exhibitors are required to feed, water & clean their cages daily. Rabbit release times: Thursday, 7/26-7:30 to 10:00 pm; Friday 7/27-7:00 am to 5:00 pm. All rabbits must be removed from the barn by Friday, 7/27 @ 5:00 pm. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning out their cages, tearing cages down & stacking in the designated area by 5:00 pm, Friday 7/27. Areas must be clean swept after the cages are tore down. PREMIUMS / AWARDS Official ARBA Sanctioned Show. Premiums will be paid after the breed has been completed. 2 In classes where there is no competition, no more than two premiums will be awarded to the same exhibitor in any one class. The judge has the right to not place an animal if, in his opinion, the animal does not merit one. 3 Trophies for Best in Show, Best 4-Class & Best 6-Class will be awarded from the Clark County Agricultural Society. 4 The Best Pet Trophy is donated in the memory of Bill & Wilma Russell. All children who won a rabbit in the 2018 Rabbit Scramble are eligible & encouraged to bring their rabbit back to the judgingheld Monday, July 22nd in the rabbit barn. Awards will be presented to the winners. Winners will receive a 1 year free membership to the Busy Bunnies Youth Club. 2019 BUNNY SCRAMBLE 6:00 PM Tuesday 7/23 Sheep Arena 1. This rabbit scramble is open to "Clark County" boys and girls going into the 1st thru 3rd grade. "Children must have attended Kindergarten to participate". 4. Contestant must provide a carrier for the animal. NO CARDBOARD BOXES ALLOWED. If a carrier is not present when the child is ready to leave with their rabbit, the rabbit will remain with the committee until the family supplies a carrier. NO ONE WILL BE PERMITTED TO LEAVE THE BARN CARRYING A RABBIT IN THEIR ARMS! 5. Contestant must be willing to properly care for the animal and show the animal in the "Scramble Rabbit" class of the 2019 Clark County Fair. 6.
