The Exhibitor's Catalog will be 5.5" x 8.5". Camera ready ads are accepted in high-resolution press quality PDF s (preferred),.jpg or.tif are also accepted (minimum 300 pixels/inch). If you are sending photos separately to be included in ads, the photos should be scanned to finished size and a minimum of 300 pixels/inch. All ads must be in black and white or grayscale. Pricing is as follows: 1/2 Page $50 Full Page $75 WELL WISHERS Send good luck wishes to your favorite competitor, trainer or friend or just send it from your club in the catalog pages of well wishers. This year we are asking for donations to help support the AKC National Obedience Invitational. For $25.00 you can have a space on the well wishers page to help support the trophy fund for the dedicated hard working and training competitors that compete at the invitational in Long Beach, CA. The catalog width will be 4.5 inches. It must be 25 words or less (2 lines) in order for everyone to have 2 lines each. Due to the popularity of this event and the overwhelming demand for hotel rooms in Long Beach, an Early Cancellation Policy will be in effect for downtown Long Beach hotels. If for some reason you are not able to keep any part of your hotel reservation, please keep in mind you MUST make all CANCELLATIONS by 6pm local time Thursday, November 5, 2009 to avoid a non-refundable charge of one night room and tax. NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS ENTRY FEES shall not be refunded in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by Veterinarian or Judge, or barred from competition by action of Trial Committee. If because of riots, civil disturbances or other acts beyond the control of the management it is impossible to open or to complete the trial, no refund of entry fees will be made. REFUNDS for cancellation of entries prior to the closing date for entries of the trial will be made within 30 days after the closing date for the event. No entry fee will be refunded if the trial cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, or any other cause beyond the control of the organizing committee. ENTRY FEES FOR BITCHES IN SEASON will be refunded if the Trial Secretary is notified in writing at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the event on Saturday, December 12, 2009. Vet statements should be provided to the Trial Secretary in writing to receive a refund. After December 12, 2009 entry fees will not be refunded for bitches in season. EXERCISE AREA Obedience judging will be in the upstairs ballroom and the exercise area is downstairs outside. EXHIBITOR CHECK-IN TIMES / FACILITY ACCESS. All exhibitors are required to check-in during the times and locations specified under the heading "Exhibitor Check-In Times" specified in this information booklet. Exhibitors shall not enter the event facility prior to 9:00 a.m. on Friday, December 11, 2009 to set up their crating area. No dogs will be allowed to stay overnight inside the obedience crating area. RINGSIDE. All dogs not needed for further judging will be excused. Dogs will not be permitted to roam and must be on leash at all times on event grounds except when in the ring or when in the designated area. Please pick up after dogs at show site and hotels. Dogs must use the designated exercise areas. JUDGES ARE NOT REQUIRED TO WAIT FOR DOGS. The owner/handler of each dog is solely responsible for having it ready at ringside when it is to be judged. The club has no responsibility for providing service through a public address system or stewards or runners for the purpose of calling or locating dogs that are not brought into the ring when required. DOGS PARTICIPATING. This event is by invitation only. The top 3 dogs per breed will be invited. If there are more than 30 dogs that qualify in a specific breed, then we will take a ratio of the total and invite that amount. Dogs must meet the minimum entry requirements in order to participate at this event and must also meet the eligibility requirements specified in the Obedience Regulations. Exhibitors should follow their veterinarians' recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations.

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, no un-entered dogs will be allowed in the facility. Additionally, no ex-pens will be allowed in the facility. Each entered dog will receive one assigned crating space. Anyone wishing to crate near friends must be in line together. SPECIAL TRAINING COLLARS ARE PROHIBITED SAFETY, BEHAVIOR and LIABILITY. The safety of the dog is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport. It is expressly understood that exhibitors alone are responsible for the behavior of their dogs and/or children. Any exhibitor whose dogs and/or children create an unnecessary disturbance or repeatedly engage in unsafe or disruptive behavior may, at the discretion of the trial committee, be asked to leave the show site. In such case, no refund of any fees paid will be made. The American Kennel Club and its agents, employees, etc., will assume no responsibilities for any loss, damage or injury sustained by exhibitors or handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assumes no responsibility for injury to children. The American Kennel Club reserves the right to decline entries for cause and may remove any dog on account of aggression. No one shall have any recourse or claim against the American Kennel Club or any official thereof. All dogs must be on leash at all times except when in the ring. This club does agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC Entry Form for this event.
