The President s Corner President s Gavel There is an expression we ve heard before, oh those slow dog days of summer. We are over half way through the year and things have not slowed down. Our June trial was a success, so many awards to be celebrated; now we are coming up on our August Show and Go. This is a wonderful opportunity to practice/show your dog in a ring setting and get feed back. Don t forget to volunteer we need your help!!! Volunteering is essential to make this and all of our events run smoothly. Speaking of trial results, for new members, Caren keeps a record of all titles and presents the awards at the January banquet. It is helpful to record your awards on the trial result form. If you need one, please see a board member or e-mail Caren. August is also a time for our pot-luck. Please help out by sharing your culinary gifts. As someone who enjoys cooking, it is wonderful to see the unique dishes prepared. By the time you receive your On Lead, our new website should be up and running. A HUGE thank you to ALL who served, gave suggestions and pictures. This was a huge undertaking so thank you, and a special thank you to Jo Ann who did a lot of the leg work for this project. Now on to next month and the trials we will be entering. May you all have Q s to share and celebrate.
