Interview Questions Prior to getting into the adoption process, let s start with your search. When you decided to adopt a dog, what were you looking to get? Size/breed/characteristics, etc. Can you tell me a little bit about how you approached your search? Online, in person, etc. Prior to visiting a shelter or rescue did you research dog breeds? If yes, what methods did you use? Did you use your smartphone or desktop to do the searches? How much time have/did you spend searching for a dog? What factors influenced your decision to adopt the dog you did? How did your shelter experience go? Do you recall the screening questions that they asked you during the adoption process? What was/is the most difficult part about finding a potential dog to adopt? What sites or apps did you use for your search?
