Kembrey s Dalmark the Super Sleuth JW 4. Smith s - Christines Girl 5. Boden s - Dalmark The Blue Moon Limit Bitch 1. Haywood & Ridgeway s - Luccombe Hazel Nut Cluster - What a class, I could have used several red cards here! Two year old L/W completely at home with both her handler and the task in hand. Standing she is relaxed yet ready for action, when called to move she flows in to a free driving action which is to all intents effortless. The symmetry of bone muscle and weight all combine to form a perfect picture. The elegant head with dark amber eyes and defined stop, framed by beautiful ears. A graceful arched neck flows into a strong but feminine body superb top and under line lines are supported by sound well boned legs which she used to drive home her top place today. Page 18/19
Best Bitch. Best in Show. Best Liver in show 2. Polehill s - Kymvale Savannah - I have liked this B/W girl since she was a puppy. Beautifully decorated and friendly. She has the truest level topline of any dog in the ring. With a tailset and carriage which is to die for. Her decoration is superb and clean. Movement is straight and true. Front and shoulders all speak of good regular exercise, hind quarters superb. Beaten today by the visual softness of the limit winner.. Best Bitch 2. Wright's - Angelic Aphrodite for Millbelle JW - B/W slightly shorter and not the topline of 1. Moves well but overextends when standing 3. Pickup s Roadcoach Rose de Noel Brace 1. Tingey s Brace - Beautifully matched liver dog & bitch pair who worked well both standing and moving 2. Ward s Brace - Pretty black and white dog & bitch pair with big difference in size to overcome. 3 Smith s Brace John McCarthy (Judge) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- JUNIOR HANDLING Thanks to the North Of England Dalmatian Club committee for inviting me to judge. Today I judged it with the point system (not commonly used) as I thought this was the fairest way to get my places. There was some amazing handling some of the best handling skills I ve seen from some of the youngsters. Handlers need to watch were I am instead of following the floor mats. Parts of the dog were another thing that some the handlers looked red in the face when asked. Apart from that handlers showed very well and were smartly dressed. There looks to be some very promising young handlers for the future! 1st Abbie Williams-such a confident young handler but let her self down today on winning it overall on her triangle were she performed a reverse triangle instead of a triangle. Her circle were she swapped hands was very good and very smooth something that made her handling just that bit more stylish. Showing the teeth she was the only handler to not be brutal to the dog. Was very well dressed in a black suit and gave a lot of confidence to her dog. An amazing handler overall someone to watch for the future! 2ndJordan Mercer- Another great handler today just needs to be aware of not breaking the golden rule. Was smartly dressed very neat and tidy. Had a good relationship with her dog and was very smiley and looked as if she was really enjoying herself. Very polite as well. 3rd Alexandra Adderley was very hard having to pick between her and 4th place as they were both were just the same but Alexandra managed to let me see the dog just a bit more than 4th place. This made me pick her 3rd. She was very smartly dressed and stood her dog very well 4th Lydia Boden 1st- Arron Williams- On today s performance I would say it s the best I have ever seen Arron perform. Doing everything I asked of him and answered each point of the dog correct. My only fault to Arron would be straighter lines and tighter corners. But apart from that I couldn t fault him. Was the only handler out of both age groups to notice were I had stood and started from were I had stood and didn t follow the mats on the floor. Made sure there was 3 steps in between me and the dog on final show pose. Smartly dressed and very polite boy. Very well deserverved! BJH 2nd-Lauren Davis- Such a confident handler and had a lot of hard work with such a big dog. Did patterns correct and made some very straight lines. Needs to be careful when showing the teeth with such long nails. Lost it to not knowing were the loin was on the dog. Was another very smart handler and was also very polite. Charlotte Page Page 19/19
