Coordination Veterinary Services should play a lead role in preventing zoonotic diseases and ensuring animal welfare and should be involved in dog population control, coordinating their activities with other competent public institutions and/or agencies.

Effective Coordination & Cooperation hallmark of the successful management implementation clear rules and responsibilities does not occur by chance occurs when the essential components required for each activity are ensured.
Requisites for good coordination (1) Direct contact: by direct personal contacts Required in group activity Continuous process (Continuity): coordination is a continuous process and it must go in all the time, starting from the planning stage Creativity Deliberate effort
Requisites for good coordination (2) Direct contact and group activities: - meetings between Animal welfare department and municipalities Discussion of: - Ideas - Goals - Views and - Misunderstandings (can be removed much more efficiently then by any other method)
