Volunteers Needed! This is a small trial, so every helping hand is graciously accepted. All exhibitors are encouraged to help with the course changes and the other various tasks of the agility trial. CKCSC-USA Agility Trial Regulations The Regulations for Agility Trials of the American Kennel Club (AKC) will be imposed for all CKCSC-USA agility trials, with the following exceptions: If your cavalier has an equivalent title in another registry, they may start at that level in the CKCSC-USA Agility program. For example, if your cavalier has an AKC AX title, they should start exhibiting in the Standard A class. The handler may also step down and start in ; that is their choice. This will allow the more experienced cavaliers to start exhibiting in the level they are trained for and compete against cavaliers with the same level of experience. Once the cavalier earns the title, it will be assumed that they have earned all the lower level titles..all agility classes will have nested courses (this will eliminate course building for each level). 2.Courses will be designed except for the following weave pole exceptions; Weave Poles Standard 6 2 Jumpers 6 2 2.A jump height card indicating the height of the dog at the withers issued by an agility organization must be attached to the trial entry form. If a dog does not have a jump height card, the dog must be measured by an official judge before the start of the class. 4.The jump height divisions of the AKC will be followed. 5.Move-ups must be presented to the show secretary -minutes before start of trial. 6.Exhibitors may enter a dog in a higher performance class to earn the higher title, but the class may not change after the closing date of the trial. 7.Performance qualifications: an additional 5 seconds will be added to all standard course times for the table obstacle 8.Agility title requirements: To earn a title, a cavalier may earn more than one qualifying score under the same judge, but at least two of the qualifying scores must have been earned from at least two different judges. For a full description of the Rules and Regulations associated with the CKCS, USA Agility Events please refer to the following link on the CKCS, USA Website: http://www.ckcsc.org/ckcsc/ckcsc_inc.nsf/founded-954/agilitynews.html
