There was a good sized group of Hashers that gathered at Vampire s abode in Kallangur for what promised to be a good run. It would have been a good run had we not got carried away by the mosquitos before the run, and just for good measure they hammered us again when we got back from the run. At 6.30pm, Vampire called for quiet to give the run/walk instructions for tonight and we were off. The walkers did 3.2km with the runners doing a little bit more. Eventually everyone make it back safe and sound, even Ned who got a little lost. Hash Cash To & From gave the run count and then the GM Flower called Vampire forward to face the mozzie spray.
The Run Report as told by FIGJAM: FIGJAM said that there was a couple of issues. Not enough re-groups and when you put them near a roadway, don t put the arrows 100m apart because you can t hear anyone call On On. But overall out of all the runs this year that have been Hared by a walker, this was by far the best one. Score: 6/10 The Walk Report as told by Heart Starter: Heart Starter said that she ran some of it and it was pretty flat so it was great for her. Score: 8.5/20 The Letterbox Walk Report as told by Generic: Generic said that it was very pleasant and they had a long chat and caught up on a lot of stuff. It was well signed. CHARGES: Jake the Peg had a charge for Vampire. We know it s nearly Xmas and we like some snacks out on the run, but when you leave a dead snake out there, you might need to put it on ice as it doesn t keep too well in this heat. After all the other Hashers that turned up for the weekend really had no idea about camping and with it pissing down with rain, all their food got wet.
