Did you know there are visitors travel tens of thousands of kilometres to Scamander that are no bigger than a mini chocolate bar, and they do it every year Scamander s foreshore bushland is home to an amazing array of wildlife; but they suffer from invaders. Come in outdoor walking attire, including good shoes, hat and bring some water. People not yet 13 years old must have an adult carer. Take a closer look at what we all share out there W I L D B A C K Y A R D S Friday 27th January 2017, 9am - 12ish, St Marys library park Games, habitat planting and stories about the native critters in the backyards and bush blocks around St Marys. A morning of fun, learning, doing and sharing for all ages to enjoy. Have fun learning about special animals like the eastern barred bandicoot that are found in St Marys backyards. Discover how they live, what they need and help plant some habitat for them in the park by the St Marys Rivulet and library. Dress for outdoor activities in summer. People not yet 13 years old must have an adult carer. Bring work gloves and your backyard wildlife stories if you have them. And your library card, the library is open for Wild Backyard research from 12:30pm.
