Wrangler secured Del Val Club will be holding a specialty, in addition to the Regional and National specialties. 9. 2019 - West coast Show chair, Laura Myles FT Co-chairs- Tom Quesnell and Matt Soltz Judges contacted, still working on Regional judge Working on host hotels with Jodi's help. Both decent proposals, leaning towards Red Lion. 10. 2020 Midwest Potentially Solon Springs again? Twin Cities and Wisconsin Clubs will be discussing their willingness to host the Nat l there again. Grove Springs is out of the question; no dates available. 11. 2021 East Coast 12. Election to Membership Richard & Val Steinneck - Grand Lake, CO Dr. Bill & Jeanne Francisco - Sarasota, FL Robin Wachowski - Oak Lawn, IL Elizabeth Giannini - Louisville, KY Paul Radmer - Richfield, WI Motion to approve members. All approved 13. New Business a. Pat Laurans asked Judy Cheshire to arrange for the "Meet the Breeds" in NY in conjunction with the Westminster show. Tom Jarnich agreed to do it. The Sun Coast Club gets reimbursed for expenses when they do "Meet the Breeds" in Orlando. Can the BOD agree to do the same for NY? I think there is a limit of $200 for Orlando. Tom's expenses would only be for shipping materials (Wire News) and printing some material on the breed. He might also need gas and tolls in NY, which would basically be the toll because he lives in NY. I think AKC pays for parking. But the entire thing shouldn't be close to $200. Let me know...thanks! And Merry Christmas! o Motion to fund the Meet the breeds at Westminster. All Approved b. Many people want a GWPCA agility event. As a stand-alone national there is too many conflicts with both show site, helpers, people that want to be in the show but want to compete in agility. So, when trying to combine an agility event with the national show, there are many issues. The question has been raised, may the GWPCA run an National Agility trail outside of the national event weekend? Could the BOD please advise. Ideally, the GWPCA could hold the national agility championship any weekend with any existing club or venue. But, it would need to have support from those in the GWPCA who compete supporting the effort. Could you please comment on how you would like me/us to move forward with this event.

o The board is opposed to any stand alone national event; any event that calls it self National GWPCA, needs to be held in conjunction with the National Specialty and Field Trial. The GWPCA supports a National Agility trial, provided it is supported by GWP Agility participants and held with GWPCA National events. 14. Next Meeting: Thursday, January 25, 2018. 15. Meeting Adjourned
