All communication regarding entries should be addressed to the Show Secretary 2. Entries without a fee will not be accepted 3. Acknowledgement of entries with a Judging schedule will be mailed as soon as possible after the closing date 4. Make all cheques payable to the show giving club 5. The Club and Canine Show Services 2000 Inc will not be responsible for cash sent through the mail 6. Returned cheques do not constitute a valid entry fee. A collection fee of $15 will be added by Canine Show Services 2000 Inc in addition to any bank charges for each returned cheque. 7. There is no refund for duplicate entries. Every effort will be made to find all duplicate entries, however if the entry has been processed and appears in the official catalogue, no refund will be made 8. Entry fees shall not be refunded in the event that the dog is absent, excused by a Veterinarian or Judge, disqualified or barred from competition by action of the bench Committee. 9. If because of riot, civil disturbance or acts of God, it is impossible to open or complete the show, no refund of entries shall be made 10. Exhibitors must abide by errors made in entering their dogs, regardless of how or by whom the entries were made. Change or cancellation of any entry after closing time is prohibited. 11. The Club reserves the right to refuse any entry subject to CKC rules 12. Dogs may arrive any time prior to their scheduled time of Judging. Dogs not required for further judging will be excused. Judges will not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners/Agents are responsible to have their dogs present when their classes are called to be judged 13. Exhibitors are requested to keep their grooming and crating areas clean and tidy. If space is at a premium, exhibitors must remove exercise pens if requested by the Show Superintendent The Show Superintendent will be in complete charge of the show, which will be governed by CKC rules PARKING & CAMPING THERE IS PARKING AT THE SHOW SITE, WITH DESIGNATED AREAS FOR RV S AND CARS. AS THE PARKING IS LIMITED, EXHIBITORS ARE REQUESTED TO SET UP GROOMING TABLES ETC INSIDE THE ARENA, AND NOT TAKE UP PARKING SPACE NEXT TO YOUR VEHICLE. CAMPING IS AVAILABLE AT $15 PER NIGHT OR $40 FOR THE WEEKEND. THERE WILL BE LIMITED ELECTRICAL HOOKUPS AVAILABLE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVED BASIS

Junior Handling Competition 1. Entry must be made on a special entry form as provided by the CKC and available from the Show Secretary and must include the following; a) Name of Club and date of event b) Name, address, telephone number, date of birth, signature of Junior handler c) class entered, breed & catalogue number of dog to be handled 2. A Junior Handler may compete with any dog entered in the show, provided he/she has the consent of the owner or agent to do so 3. The Junior Handler will wear the armband number assigned to the dog for the show 4. If necessary, due to conflict, substitution of dog will be allowed 5. Dogs being used in competition must be of appropriate size and temperament for the Junior Handler. If the Junior Handler cannot lift the dog, it is not appropriate in size for the competitor CLASSES OFFERED AT THIS SHOW The Hamilton Kennel Club Inc is pleased to offer Rosettes for First to 4th in each class and a Rosette & Trophy for Best Junior Handler overall, and ribbons for all participants Pee Wee Class This class is for handlers 4 years of age up to 6 years of age as of December 31 st of the year preceding the competition year. This class is optional and non-competitive. No placements are to be awarded; only participant ribbons, rosettes and token trophies may be presented. Junior Novice This class is for handlers 7 to 10 years of age as of December 31 st of the year preceding the competition year, who have not won 6 first places in the same class with competition. Junior Open This class is for handlers 7 to 10 years of age as of December 31 st of the year preceding the competition year, who have won 6 first places with competition. Intermediate Novice Class This class is for handlers 11 to 14 years of age as of December 31 st of the year preceding the competition year, who have not won 6 first places in the same class with competition. Intermediate Open Class This class is for handlers 11 to 14 years of age as of December 31 st of the year preceding the competition year, who have won 6 first places with competition and for any handler who has progressed through the Junior Open level and feels that he has enough experience to compete at this level. Senior Novice Class This class is for handlers 15 years of age as of December 31 st of the year preceding the competition year and up to 18 years of age, who have not won 6 first places with competition in this class. Handlers from the Intermediate levels progress to this class. Senior Open Class This class is for handlers 15 years of age as of December 31 st of the year preceding the competition year and up to 18 years of age, who have won 6 first places with competition in the Senior Novice Class, and for any handler who has progressed through the Intermediate Open level and feels that he has enough experience to compete at this level. OUR SHOW GROUNDS IS A LOVELY PLACE FOR A DOG SHOW, AND IN ORDER TO ENSURE THE AVAILABILITY OF THE SITE FOR FUTURE SHOWS, PLEASE CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS WHEN EXERCISING THEM. PLEASE DO NOT EXERCISE YOUR DOGS ON THE STREETS, OR PRIVATE PROPERTY THESE ARE OUTDOOR SHOWS & TRIALS, AND NO COVERING WILL BE PROVIDED IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER. THE SHOW PRECINCTS ARE 30 FEET FROM ALL RINGS, THE ARENA, AND ALL AREAS RESERVED FOR JUDGES AND SHOW OFFICIALS Attention Foreign Exhibitors : Please note that fees are due and payable in Canadian dollars. Due to fluctuating currency rates discounted cheques will not be accepted. Personal cheques will be accepted, however they are to be payable in Canadian Funds. If you send a cheque in US funds it must be made out for the full amount of the entry and no exchange will be refunded to the exhibitor. To determine the number of Championship points earned by a dog awarded Winners, total all the dogs in competition which the dog defeated, directly or indirectly, for the highest of the following official breed awards: Winner, Best of Winners, Best of Breed or Best of Opposite Sex, and the consult the schedule set forth above.
